Great, that would be good - its definitely time to hitch the intellectual output of this thread up a notch or two. Ambrose will do just right. Ambrose knew soo much about Peanut Brittle, but if anything he knew even more about The Periodic Table .

How right you are on all aspects of that post.
Warspite1

I will leave you to research in your own good time, but I have no doubt as part of your study you will be using, Ambroses' 1959 magnum opus: The Periodic Table and how I know even more about this than peanut brittle - Wang Publishing.

I may be using Ambrose's The Real Periodic Table and What it is Actually Filled With, LNG DONG Publishers.
Warspite1

One of Ambroses' more intriguing claims can be found in his 1954 best-seller, Periodic Table: The Early Years. Ambrose claims that the first reference to the Periodic Table in history was in 5th/6th century England. Says Ambrose:

Unlike what legend would have us believe, The court of King Arthur featured the Kinghts of the Periodic Table. That Round Table nonesense was just, well nonesense according to Ambrose. Intriguing stuff......

Interesting. I am soon to take a sabbatical from playing Airline Empires to research the Periodic Table question

But for the moment I need to get back to Crash and Burn Air-"Crash & Burn might get you there"

So let's see what we are up against.

We need to find someone who can not only fly a plane, but who didn't have fish for dinner.

Yes, children are taught NONSENSE about the Round Table. ARRRGGGHH.

There are misconceptions all around about the Periodic Table.

In his 1933 book, THE PERIODIC TABLE'S MAN MADE ELEMENTS-THE TRUTH, Stephen Ambrose wrote:

"A common misunderstanding is that Technetium was the first element to be made artificially, this is poo-poo. The actual first man made element was Anacardium Arachis Hypogaea L Britalis Brysten, which can be used in medicine, manufacturing and as a food..."

Amazing fact: did you know the chemical symbol for Anacardium Arachis Hypogaea L Britalis Brysten is:

Arse

Exsqueeze me? Why are you calling yourself names in the middle of a serious discussion about The Periodic Table.

warspite1 -> RE: 4,000 Posts (2/14/2012 9:31:08 PM)

Don't be childish. ARSE is the atomic symbol for that element with lots of letters that I can't be bothered to write out again....FACT

Well don't blame me for the fact that you did not capitalize rse in your first post. OF course I know ARSE is the symbol for the element Anacardium Arachis Hypogaea L Britalis Brysten(better known as Cashew Brittle). HEHEHHHHEEE

Indeed I do Steiner. Having your attention gives my life meaning. You are indeed a legend etc.

Thank-you Rhondabrwn - it's a shame you were late and missed the party. It was a big event, held in Monaco that lasted three days. Free booze, free food and great company; but I suspect I will lay on something similar when I reach 5,000 posts so stay tuned [:)]

Warspite1. Could you start a thread "Count the number of posts"? And then post some 800 posts in a row in that thread. Just increase the count with one in each post. Should go fast. I want that 5,000 posts party. [:'(]

Orm you are, I fear, lost to BPB. That is the only explanation I can think of for your post.

YOU WERE THERE MAN!!! I know you were really knocking back the booze - and added with the BPB you are obviously taking - that probably explains why at one point you were pretending to be Fernando Alonso's Ferrari and running around the circuit, making brrmm, brrmmm noises, before deciding to imitate Alberto Ascari and diving head first into the harbour fully clothed.

You really don't remember rounding off the third day in the company of a couple of leggy blonde twins? That's a shame [;)]
