3/24/42 Eventful day. I'm not going to give you screen caps, I don't think that's necessary. The morning wave of my aircraft attacking his invasion forces scored a grand total of one hit on a PB (which is hardly consequential) that had already been struck by a non-dud torpedo from a submarine, and still it did not sink. A submarine also successfully delivered a non-dud to an xAK which was carrying some troops (the number is indeterminate) and it sank well out to sea. I believe the convoy in question is carrying base force type units waiting to land after he captures Rockhampton, their purpose being to build/repair the airfield/port there and to support air operations from there. They should wait outside the range of my Wirraways however, and I expect him to make that adjustment forthwith. The afternoon raid of my Wirraways and Marauders was fruitful, with many hits on the ships unloading at Rockhampton. He may not realize it yet, but he is also operating in a veritable Hornet's nest of submarines. I think many travails await him there. There is something curious going on though, his KB is dawdleing a lot and only slowly approaching the field at Rockhampton, sitting now a bit west of New Caledonia. I have reason to believe that this is not the only operation underway, and I'm wondering if he's operating the KB to be an existential threat throughout the Coral Sea region without actually covering any landings. I hope to force him to either poop or get off the pooper. We shall see. Now, another matter has come up, in this instance involving Darwin and allied fighter squadrons in training mode. This is causing some immediate changes in behavior, and may result in more permanent changes, but all this is covered in a thread I began in the Tech Forum. Please go there and if you feel you have a valid opinion from your point of reference, post your comments there. We're really interested with what everyone else thinks about it. The hiatus in the Japanese offensive in China is over in at least one area (west of Changsha) and it is quite desperate. I don't believe my handling of the Chinese incompetent, but he is really giving me what for there. Forgive me the colloquialisms, but it means my tail is so far between my legs that it proceeds me to my every destination. Things are really heating up, I prefer that to the boredom of waiting for the next blow to land.
