Marblehead has been at Balikpapan since she has been hit by two torps and now tried to get back to Soerabaja... she meets an enemy destroyer that has been sitting there alone for several turns (nav search spotted it but I thought it would be a false spotting as it didn't make any sense to me to place a lone destroyer there on patrol do not retire)... Marblehead enters the hex, nav engagement triggers and while I was yesterday 100% sure that she would make Soerabaja the engagement with Natsushio means she is no a burning wreck... none of the shells were able to penetrate but Marblehead suffered enough additional sys damage and fires were raging so I had to scuttle her... pity, this is my second CL lost in the war...
