larryfulkerson -> RE: Parry and Spar... (6/25/2012 8:06:29 AM)

One of Jim's subs is causing a MAJOR problem with my running resources to the home islands. Only the dud torpedoes saved this ship. I'm going to have to fly some ASW assets over there and see if I can't persuade this sub to relocate to Attu.

larryfulkerson -> RE: Parry and Spar... (6/25/2012 8:07:35 AM)

Jim had some PT boats sortie from Manila and shot up two of my PB's sevearly. I'm going to have to see if I can't chase those guys back into Manila with some boats with bigger guns.

larryfulkerson -> RE: Parry and Spar... (6/25/2012 8:09:39 AM)

Jim has a sub investigating around Ocean Island. It used to be a quiet area too.

The ground pounding will continue until morale improves.

larryfulkerson -> RE: Parry and Spar... (6/25/2012 8:11:13 AM)

Here's the results of one early morning air raid at or near Kuantan.

larryfulkerson -> RE: Parry and Spar... (6/25/2012 8:11:55 AM)

I'm beginning to think I should have used fast transports to do these kinds of amphibious raids. Almost every ship is on fire.

larryfulkerson -> RE: Parry and Spar... (6/25/2012 8:12:26 AM)

Here's the results of some ground combat in Tarakan. FOW has obscured the true odds of the forces so I don't know whether to do a DA or not. I'm leaning toward yes.
