Does this mean anything to anyone?

My game has suddenly started crashing.

It happened a couple of times in .13. I then just patched to .14 and the same thing has happened. Generally happens the first time combat is initiated on a turn, although I think it can take two or three combats to happen.

Any help much appreciated. The only change I have made recently system wise (it was used to be very stable as a game) is upgrade to a bigger wide screen monitor. The last monitor was not wide screen, could this be causing a problem?

Leo,

The version I am using is the .14 patch that was recently released in the members area. I am completely up to date.

Having done some tinkering around, interestingly, I am yet to have it following the deletion of the pref and dat files from the saved game folder.

Opps... I was thinking of our internal ALPHA WitW (that one is v0.38)... sorry... yes... the WitE v1.06.14 is the latest one...

When it exactly happens? Is it repeatable? If yes, does it happens with other saves/scenarios?

Did you try to disable sounds? (copy sound folder)

It was repeatable, but it seems to have stopped since I deleted the .dat and .pref files from the saves folder. It was mainly with the alternate 41 campaign, but it happened once with the vanilla 41-45 campaign as well.

I'll be playing extensively this evening, so I'll try to get it to happen again, but with a bit of luck, something I have done has sorted it out.

I appreciate your response, though.
