There is an Editor manual included with the game and the developer has been posting some 'how-to' guides. I won't claim that the editor is easy to use, but it is probably the most powerful and feature rich editor ever provided for any game of this type.

At some point this thread should probably be retitled, because someone just entering it now would be awfully confused as to what it is about in the first place...just sayin'

I have tried a few games with Advanced Tactics in the past but not sure how it is now with D.campaigns.
Only tried as Axis in GP(and a short scn in Pbem) which was mainly and limited to 41 winter and I think I need to discover the game more to get conclusion about AI and design in WIE.
I have been watching the AAR's and posts for months and looks as if enjoyable game so far. Managing the whole eastern front is a big plus.

I played it and liked it, but I found the interface tough to work with. Some actions, such as a successful airborne landing, I was never able to figure out.

The developer has kept on improving the game though, and he's working on a full WW2 in Europe version, I think, so that will be interesting to see.

Probably best as a PBEM game...

I spent more time on WitE than on the 5 last last wargames I've bought.

It is truly detailled, the AI isn't too much stupi and you can find an active community of players. Some AAR really sound impressive.

My best best purchase since TAOW.
