You can get IBC bottles if you look carefully, it's not stocked on store shelves. Generally Pepsi or Coke's bottled (yeech!) Root Beer... Worst memory of my US visit. Walking around Kansas City on a warm Sunday (boy do they lock up on a Sunday) From Downtown we did Union Station & what is now the WW1 memorial (and politely told the Guard about Australias WW1 efforts [:D])then across to "Hallmark Plaza"??? Great Sub/Bread roll thingy and a bottle of something Orangy. (Great descriptions!) The drink was at least 125% sugar and even though we continued walking down to our Motel at Country Club got there with almost half of the bottle left. Luckily we dont get Root Beer here except in specialty shops, our poison would be Sarsparilla.

It would also be rare not to get lettuce, tomato as standard and onion, cheese, pineapple & egg as extras. Nothing wrong with Beetroot on a burger, its a major part of Eastern Europes favourite soup and a salad favourite here..

Yes, Hallmark -- 100% owned by and named after the Hall family -- is headquartered in Kansas City. They may well be the biggest company in town, but since they're privately held there aren't many means for comparison. The company is a client of one of my former employers, and I can say that the entire accounting department, at least, is staffed with wonderful, friendly people!

In Queensland over nine days I saw no cheese, no pineapple, and no eggs. I saw beets everywhere. A landslide of beets. I still have dreams . . .[:'(]
