I would offer assistance if you need in and play-testing/balance/character issues, but I
probably will have my time eaten up with the upcoming expansion as a beta tester. I'm also
committed to assisting Igard in finishing his Star Trek ~ Kirk Era Legends Mod. But feel
free to PM me if you have any obstacles or difficulties. Looks VERY promising thus far!
I'm sure there are plenty of members here that can assist you if needed. Again, welcome!

Amazing way to introduce yourself in the forums - welcome [:D] I never played EVE or Dust514 but I sure see how much potential for awesomeness lies in it when I look at the previews you've posted. It's an ambitious project to make it all yourself but you seem to be doing great. Great progress too. I'll be keeping an eye on how this develops.

I think Korea just became my second favourite foreign country in the world ^^ (South Korea right?)

i think this eve mod's point is..how much same 'eve universe'..probably eve mod develop is will be LONG Way Trip..[:D]
maybe 2~3 days later, i will finish Faction(race) part..

BTW, you're ME mod is amazing!
specially, ship design & character quality is so high
im not download yet..but i will play ME mod very soon

Yeah.. that sucks for them :/ I still can't figure out how a country can function properly ruling itself like that....

Anyway, are you planning to replace DW races with EVE ones, or are you just going to add them to the rest? I personally wouldn't mind being able to burn some Quaemo to cinders with some of those new kickass ships [:D]

North Koreans have very little, if any, internet access to the outside. The government has very tight control on all information. That would make reaching this forum highly unlikely.

yeah i hate kim jung eun & his government, but i love North korea common people..
specially, North korean Woman is Very Pure, naive and beautiful.. [:)]
i wish for reunification of North and South Korea and meet them,,, like Germany..

and This EVE & Dust 514 Mod will be All Replace Mod..that's why i was start this mod,,

This EVE & Dust 514 Mod is All Replace MOD
All Races changed EVE Factions
so DW's original race is doesn't useable..

CCP EVE Online's Factions identity,setting,Relationship is very complex & Detail..
I had to this work carefully...[8|]

[X(] Yeah, I don't even know what to say. That's the best, most vivid, visually attractive, awesome, detailed and professional mod update summary I have ever seen. WOW. I feel like a noob modder now [sm=bow.gif] I remember Quadro making some really cool previews for ME mod but this is just crazy good!

Man, we need to get more Koreans making mods for this game :P

I can't wait for this mod. I'm a huge fan of Eve and a long-term player (on break at the moment but returning soon because 5 years active playtime obviously isn't enough [:D]) It looks fantastic with what you've done so far and I look forward to seeing it develop further. I can see myself playing with this for months when it's officially released.

Incredible! And here I thought it'd be cool if I added a few shipsets from EVE.. and it turns out I wasn't even the first to think of that. This is awesome, and I can't wait to pick it apart and add all the new races and other bits into my own personal mashup mod. I hope the soon to be announced expansion doesn't break this and all the other awesome mods too badly!

The new expansions allows us to add pirate "factions" instead of raiders? Did Elliot say that already... guess I missed that. Let's see how I can add that in my mod too.

About the mod:

Beautiful quickstart and a nice pace. Even though most of its content is an adjustment from an MMO which only needs a collection and conveyance, the work behind adding the pictures and writing designs and dialogues is quite huge for all of these big theme mods like Star Trek or Mass Effect. But considering the speed and time it consumed to get there already it is not only a good work so far. Its a brilliant result.

Though now that I think about it... do you want to edit the dialogues to match the factions? It is nothing personel, but you said your English needs some polishing. Maybe you should get a proof reader for these? I am sure someone here is native to English and interested in Eve to help you.

problem is..'ship's scale..'
ships scale is not matching EVE..[:(]
is unacceptable...to me..
seems to ..many modder is trying to find a solution this problem,can't find not yet..[:(]

dialogues, event messages, that works need english skill...

Actually, Why i am here,
DW is very awesome game..but not much popular in korea..( maybe.. in world...)
Does NOT even exist distant worlds forum in Korea..[:(]
so im vist here, updating my mod & progress..(can not even write English well..)

i think..i will find someone to help me.. or released Korea first and then coming back after english translation work..

Good luck with the scaling issue! I'd love more realism in this area too, but realistically the ships would be invisible if they were scaled according to the planet sizes, and the frigates would be next to invisible compared to supercaps.

I think it helps to think in the terms of a leader looking at a top down view of the map with assistants pushing around little ship models on the map, ala WWII style strategic planning maps. Watch some of the old naval war movies to get a sense of what I am talking about.

In other words, I'm not actually at the battle, just getting a simulated relay of what's going on, and in order for me to see it better, the ships have been enlarged.
