freddiefly -> Problem with Crete - Operation mercury (9/30/2012 6:04:55 AM)

When I try to load the Sfakia scenario I get a script error and the game shuts down

Can you tell me what the error says please, and what system you are running the game on.

Cheers

Pip

I am running on A PC with Win 7 64 bit.

the error says
Failed to find variable SetTeamOrder: did you forget to predefine it:
Context:
SetTeamOrder(1,1,0,1000001);
SetTeamOrder(1,1,1,1000002);
SetTeamOrder(1,1,1,3);

)

//The Tick function is called every game tick
//Use this for thingd that have to be checked in real-time (instead of only at the start of a turn)
FUNCTION Tick(

when I OK this message I get another popup saying

***Unhandled Exception! ExpCode: 0x80000003 ExpFlags: 0
ExpAddress: 0x767F280C Please report!

And then the game shuts down

It sounds like you don't have the latest version of the game. You might need to grab the 2.0.5 update.

Cheers

I downloaded and installed the 2.0.5 update, although I thought I did. The loading screen still says 1.8.0 and then when I bypass that and get the main fullscreen it also says 1.8.0.
However If I try to run the patch again, it informs me that BA is fully patched and up to date. So it seems to me that the udater is not working since 1.8.0 for me.

OK OK, I see what the problem is, somehow I have the update in the directory E:\battle Academy\Battle Academy, while the shortcut points to E:\battle Academy
I deleted the subfolder battle academy and repatched the original folder and all is OK now, Thanks Pip.
