Does anyone know what the scale of the map is; ie what is the distance between one hexside and another.

I'm guessing its 50 miles. Is that correct?

I know this isn't the answer you want, but it isn't really relevant. If, for example, I was to tell you that a hex is50 miles wide, that wouldn't mean that artillery can fire 100 miles, and it wouldn't mean that the trench networks are 50 miles deep. The game is more abstracted than that.

We could come up with an answer, which would be roughly right for the scale of the map, but it wouldn't mean much.

Lack of 'Stacking' in a game usually makes me crazy. This is the first game 'WITHOUT STACKING' that I am still enjoying. The size and scale 'abstraction' seems to work fine, IMHO.

Thanks Myrddraal, that solves that conundrum!!
