This problem would not be one, because I think it can be amended rather well (and the AI can be made to create fronts). To do a WW1 though, you would need to improve PON turn processing before probably.

*No problem* sounds good concerning the front AI.

It's quite interesting that you would use the PON variant of the AGE engine for a WW1 game. I suppose mostly because this wasn't a conflict with only two opponents (like AACW).

I'd imagine that the Ageod core team is lacking the same thing as Napoleon at Waterloo - time. After a rather long period without blockbusters, you have to churn out new successful games. I wonder if there's enough time to improve/rebuild the AGE engine big way. For the near future I expect rather evolution than revolution. As I recall, the *A* in AGE means *adaptive*...

I wonder if the rather huge(?!) task of optimizing the turn resolution time means that none of the next two or three Ageod games will be one of the *world* conflicts - even if you, Pocus, are interested in WW1.

Anyway, arguably the key for Ageod is choosing game topics which are really popular and can be handled by a slowly evolving AGE engine in a satisfying way.

 Best regards
