Capt. Pixel -> Orzel, ArcticFire, Scharfschutze - Moscow '41 (1/4/2003 2:55:54 AM)

Are we going to play Mr. M4 Jess' Moscow '41 scenario???

If Orzel or ActicFire wish to pass, maybe some other gentle souls out there in forum land would like to pick up the German billyclub and pound on Scharf and me and our stalwart Soviet defenders. :p

(Note: this is a H2H scenario)

Orzel Bialy -> I'm still willing...and waiting... (1/4/2003 8:22:41 AM)

I sent the files to you and that was the last of it.... as all I had to do was set up the password for the German side.
I was also under the impression that at the time Artic didn't have H2H loaded...but I can't say for sure whether that was true or not as I haven't talked to him since.

Scharfschütze -> (1/5/2003 12:20:29 AM)

Good to see some action on this at last.

Perhaps we should drop ArcticFire a note?

Goblin -> (1/5/2003 12:26:36 AM)

Shut up.

Goblin

M4Jess -> (1/5/2003 1:11:31 AM)

Ill play ill play!!!;)

I never received any files from anyone. But if you send them to me, I'll set the Soviet PW. Serandep@msn.com

Any save slot, except #4 and #6.

I'll drop ArcticFire a PM. ;)

Goblin- This is how Goblin's quiet pests

Capt. Pixel -> Well, well (1/6/2003 1:53:48 AM)

I've yet to receive anything from anybody. :(

I guess it's time to ask if there's somebody out there that really would like to play the Germans in this scenario.

There are several threads on this subject covering nearly the last month. Feigned interest has led to an excessive delay on the part of the German players. (In fact, we haven't even started passing files) I have to assume that lack of effort indicates lack of interest. {Much as I did with VikingNo2}

Any two players for the German side of a 4-way in Moscow '41 (H2H) that would like to play, sign up here.

It's an M4 Jess scenario so it should be entertaining. :D
(Oh, and despite inserted threads to the contrary; Goblin is Not involved in this, other than being a minor irritant) :rolleyes:

(This was an 'evil' post - #666 :p )

Kaakao -> (1/6/2003 4:02:32 AM)

Have had a small break in spwaw recently and now again have time to play. So I'll sign up as one of the germans.

DerC -> (1/6/2003 4:51:51 AM)

I've had a break from head to head playing against humans as well. Since Kursk seems not to be making any progress any time soon I'd be glad to sign up as the other German player. :D

M4Jess -> (1/6/2003 6:38:18 AM)

oooooooooooooo a fight...:eek:

M4 Jess~

Scharfschütze -> (1/6/2003 10:08:32 PM)

Wow, seems we are about to start at last!

Capt. Pixel, I´ll email you the sov setup at once (again).

M4Jess: Who gets the first move and therefore needs the complete scen?

For Stalin and the Motherland! Urrah!

M4Jess -> (1/6/2003 10:34:55 PM)

Germans move first

Orzel Bialy -> Jess...I'm out. (1/6/2003 10:37:11 PM)

First of all...I did set the German password and send the files out before New Years. Why they didn't arrive or where they went??? I haven't a clue if you say you didn't receive them. :confused:

I haven't heard from Artic since he last asked me if this was a 7.1 or H2H version battle. I know he said he works the night shift and is usually only around when everyone else (in the states at least) is still asleep or at work...so contact was always sparse at best.

Anyway....as far as getting two new players...be my guest. I only threw my hat in from the start because it looked like nobody was stepping forward to be German #2. Then it spiralled downhill from there.

Sorry Jess...take the offer of one of the others...I'm out.

Capt. Pixel -> So we're here at the start (1/7/2003 3:30:44 AM)

Orzel - thanks for trying. I'm sorry it didn't work out. I was looking forward to a battle with you. Perhaps in the future? :D

DerC and Kaakao - here is M4's scenario.

One of you needs to be first German player.
Open these files (scenario 75) and set the German password.
Save the file to PBEM slot #10.
Send the scenario to ScharfSchutze, he'll set our password and return to the German first player to start the first turn.

The First player for each side needs to remember NOT to End their turn. Select the 'Pause - Play Later' button. (Up Arrow)

This is H2H without any patches (patches? we don't need no stinkin' patches!)

Scharf, I'd like the eastern portion of Moscow to defend. I always liked St Basil's cathedral.

Good luck, gentlemen. :D

Capt. Pixel -> Okay, I tried twice (1/7/2003 3:41:05 AM)

to attach this scenario file to my posts (270K .zip)

I received this scenario from M4 over the forum server, but I can't send it back out? WTHN?

Anyway, DerC and Kaakao, please let me know who's 1st german player, and I'll send you the files via email (I'll need your addresses, of course)

Or you could go to the Original thread and get it from M4 Jess' post:

SP:WaW Opponents Wanted > M4 Jess, We need your Help

Just try to keep the Cathedral in one piece, will you? ;)

Fear not, Comrade. We have some really interesting surprises for any Germans foolish enough to make an attempt on St. Basil's.
;) ;) :nudge: :nudge:

Scharfschütze -> (1/7/2003 3:55:25 AM)

:cool:

I´ll just keep quiet, seems we scared off those last bunch of opponents this way...

:D :cool: :D

Kaakao -> (1/7/2003 4:29:32 AM)

Ok, guess I'll go as the first german player so mail the game to me and I'll set it up. Mail it to kaakaowaw@hotmail.com.

After that we can start the fight :mad:

ps. I also need Scharfs email to get the files back to you guys.

Scharfschütze -> (1/7/2003 4:50:59 AM)

That would be chromancer@gmx.net!

Good Luck from me, too...;)

Kaakao -> (1/7/2003 5:05:58 AM)

Files sent.

Good luck and let this be a fine battle :)

DerC -> (1/7/2003 8:22:41 PM)

I just revived my hotmail account, the address is derkursk@hotmail.com in case any of you need it. I also installed the H2H mod. I guess I'll be german player #2 ;)
