ricanuck -> Shadows repeated crash (5/24/2013 8:08:41 AM)

Hi,

I got a repeatable crash in Shadows. It always happens at the same moment in my save game. Please help, I don't want to lose the save game because of this.

The log:

Addendum:

I sent the save file to your ftp server, under the name "ricanuckshadowscrash.dwg". The crash happens a few seconds after the starting point of the savegame. Always the same message as stated in first post inside the crashlog.

Hi ricanuck

Thanks very much for your savegame - that helped greatly in tracking down the problem.

This crash is fixed in the next update which should be available tomorrow.

Thanks
Elliot

Good!

Savegame compatible? I would expect so, given that it obviously was a faulty line of code... what was it, by the way? A threat evaluation loop of some sort, but what exactly? That "threatLevel" integer array? Just curious...

Thank you for a wonderful game, by the way. You have finally overthrown the mighty GalCiv2 as the best 4x space sim in my mind (not that it wasn't the case with Legends already, but this one got me permanently hooked again... best space sim ever, and I am old enough to use the word ever). Good work!
