stonestriker -> Pressing G crashes the game (9/26/2013 6:27:56 PM)

Whenever I press G while having units selected, I crash the game (v1.52g). And because I am switching between this game and DC:CB, I often attempt to use G for moving entire divisions.

Could this be fixed, as I currently have to start a PBEM turn for the 4th time this evening :)

************** JIT-fejlfinding **************
Hvis du vil aktivere JIT-fejlfinding, skal værdien jitDebugging indstilles
i afsnittet system.windows.forms i konfigurationsfilen
for programmet eller computeren.
Programmet skal desuden kompileres med fejlfinding
aktiveret.

Eksempel:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

Når JIT-fejlfinding er aktiveret, bliver alle ikke-afviklede
undtagelser sendt til den JIT-fejlfindingsfunktion, der er registreret på computeren, i stedet for
at blive afviklet af denne dialogboks.

Thanks for reporting this issue. Will release a hotfix asap.

best,

Actually it is not so straightforward a bug. Couldnt replicate it. Might be system specific.

So a few questions:

1. You use win8?

2. You run WTP and CB at the same time? if yes, could you try just running WTP and seeing if the error than still appears?

3. Is the error there too with other hotkeys like m, a, h, b, etc...

4. Does it really crash with any unit selected, or only some? if so, which in which scenario?

Hope to get your issue fixed. Sorry for the problems.

best,
Vic

Hi Vic

Sorry for troubling you with this. It seems it that my problem is specific to a user-made scenario, I am testing at the moment. I will direct Erik to this thread instead.

It is impressive how fast you respond to these issues btw!

Vic -> RE: Pressing G crashes the game (9/28/2013 11:49:27 AM)

Its probably due to a misconfiguration of the historical units. Probably there are some units on the map that are not set to a historical unit.
He might want to consider fixing this or switching of rulevar(553) for his scenario so group move orders cannot be given.

best,
Vic

All units in this scenario are separate His-units, probably why the G-command does not work.
I have switched off the rulevar for the next version.

Thanks
Erik
