Does anyone know how to post screenshots please? I seem to be making a pigs ear of this....[&:]

Use the Reply button in the last post instead of Fast Reply. That will display the "Embed picture in post" checkbox, which you should check. And "Click here to upload", which lets you select which jpg to add to your post. Only 1 jpg per post.

Long term, it'll be easier to setup a photobucket account, and copy and paste the image code.

Does Matrix have an upload limit for users?

Missouri_Rebel -> RE: Bob Flemin's MWIF AARse (11/7/2013 10:01:00 PM)

Bob youre always welcome. Give me just a few.

Missouri_Rebel -> RE: Bob Flemin's MWIF AARse (11/7/2013 10:10:41 PM)

First when you get what you want to take a screen of press PrintScreen button on your keyboard.

Then go to your start files (the windows button on the in your toolbar)

Go to All Programs, Accessories, then paint. Open it

Click the PASTE button (looks like a clipboard)

From there to cut away just the part you want hit the SELECT button just to the right of the clipboard. That allows you to draw a box around only what you want to use

After you do that right click and select CUT. (that gives you the only part you want to use)

Right above the PASTE clipboard use that drop down and choose NEW

It will prompt if you want to save the changes (if you have what you want choose dont save)

When the new page opens right click on the new page and press PASTE

There your image is
\
Then go back to that same dropdown and scroll down to Save As which will give you a new column. Scroll over to JPEG Image click it and name it and remember where it goes.

From there POST it on the forums. Its very fast after you do it once or twice. Sounds much more complicated than what it really is.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If I were you I'd drag my Paint icon down to your toolbar. It will pin it there for future use.

That is getting to be the phrase that doesn't pay around these parts.

composer99 -> RE: Bob Flemin's MWIF AARse (11/8/2013 3:04:24 PM)

Since this AAR is now about supporting screenshots... [:'(]

I use a program called "SnagIt" to get my screen captures, and found it very useful for the AAR I did (and will hopefully get back to work on).

"SnagIt" is a free download, as I recall, and offers a fair bit of flexibility in taking screenshots (hopefully obviating the need to work with, say, MS Paint).

SnagIt is a wonderful tool... pin it to your taskbar and always have it at your finger tips.
