Zort -> What do the numbers mean? (12/17/2013 7:23:49 PM)

I see in some hexes a number at the top left portion of the hex. This number varies from 1 to 4 from what I have seen.

These are not the numbers after combat. I figure they are explained somewhere in the manual but can not find where.

Thanks

Have you got the Supply Toggle on? The numbers will be the range from your Supply source.

Number of turns until railroad is repaired?

On page 36 of the case blue manual is an example. Look at the city and in 2 of the hexes it shows a green circle with a 4 in it.

When I load the case blue full scenario, no changes to the setup from default, as the Axis I look over and see red 4's along the rails in Russian held space.

Sorry, I was thinking of Unity of Command in my first reply [:(]

I see what you mean, are they possibly Victory Points?

The numbers signify the number of turns it will take to convert the rail lines from Russian to German gauge, or the other way around. Have a look at the top of page 42 for the explanation.

Thanks. Now to figure out what they mean in Warsaw to Paris.

Donīt remember them from the first game. Attach a screenshot and that might be able to help the old memory banks.

Ah yes, those are the Dyle Plan points I believe. There should be a section about that rule under the Case Yellow scenario in the manual. Basically you need a certain number of Dyle points each round and the closer a unit is to the historically Dyle Plan, the more Dyle points it is worth.
