I had no idea that there even was a tea day. [:D]

Thank you for sharing. [:)]

15th December is International Tea Day. 21st April is National Tea Day in the UK. But ...

warspite1 -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (12/22/2017 8:37:47 PM)

Mmmmm..... the agony of choice; one more cuppa before beddy bies or not?

Orm -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (12/23/2017 6:15:05 AM)

Take one extra cup in the morning instead.

warspite1 -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (12/23/2017 7:17:02 AM)

This is sage advice - drinking tea too close to bedtime plays havoc with my bladder control during the night [;)]

Orm -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (12/23/2017 1:22:46 PM)

Todays chores done. Time for Christmas flavoured afternoon tea. And some wargaming. Life can be grand at times.

Orm -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (5/27/2018 6:51:41 AM)

Beautiful sunny morning, a good cup of tea, and a wargame to be played. Perfect start for a Sunday. [:)]

To remember when I was young some older relatives thought everyone should be bored out of their minds on Sundays.

Well you could've offered to make me one [:(]

Orm -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (5/27/2018 6:59:19 AM)

Yes, I could. And I should. I just assumed that you already had the morning tea since you been an early riser today.

Do you want a cup of tea?

[Sulk] No thank-you - Mrs W has just done the deed as you quite clearly couldn't be bothered [;)]

Orm -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (5/27/2018 7:18:45 AM)

You don't make morning tea for Mrs W?! [X(] [;)] [:D]

Hentzau -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (5/28/2018 5:56:05 AM)

Had my usual iced PG Tips tonight, but seeing a Tea thread makes me hungry for a döner kebab since I can't just ride the ferry across the Clyde and over to Gourock when I'm in Florida. [:D]

How do you make the iced tea?
warspite1

1. Get favourite mug
2. Put PG Tips bag in said mug
3. Boil the kettle - well I mean boil water using the kettle. Note: The kettle itself does not need to be boiled.
4. Pour newly boiled water into the mug
5. Add milk to suit one's taste
6. Stir
7. Remove tea bag (or keep in as desired)
8. Put mug in the Freezer.

Eh voila! [:)]

Orm -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (5/28/2018 7:32:34 AM)

Thank you, warspite1. That was eliminating. [:)]

Although I was wondering if there was any seasoning used, or herbs, or spices, or maybe some lemon or lime.

Hentzau -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (5/30/2018 12:37:37 AM)

I heat water in a pot with the lid on til a raging boil. Turn the heat off, place two PG Tips tea bags in the pot, and place the lid back on. Next I set the timer for four minutes, and then remove the teabags once the timer rings. Pour pot into pitcher, add water til pitcher is full, add a little more than a 1/4 cup of sugar, and refrigerate. I don't add lemon or mint, the PG Tips stands on it's own for my tastes.

Ah yes. But where do Tesco position them? In the posh biscuit isle right next to the Chocolate Hobnobs.

So if you have had to let your pastry chef go, and you still find yourself short a few million, you can look like you are buying Chocolate Hobnobs but slip the Bourbon Creams into the shopping trolley. [:)]

Best wishes,
Steve

It is nice. Very nice tea.

I buy my tea in loose weight from a specialized tea store. I asked for a tea with flavour from the European raspberry and got this tea. So I am sorry to say that I do not really have any information to share.
