We caught a dogfish off Atlantic Beach & made kippers out of it the other day. I had sweet tea & potato tots with it. Yum!

Orm -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (11/6/2016 6:05:21 PM)

Sounds like a sweet day. [:)]

I have been looking forward to a hot date with Lady Grey for a couple of hours. And when I finally had that hot Lady in front of me She didn't disappoint. [:)]

I like most all teas and like to switch kinds. The Republic of Tea has a great selection.

Chickenboy -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (2/12/2017 7:36:48 PM)

Years ago, my father-in-law (FIL) spent quite a bit of time in Merry Olde England doing work for the US Government. On one occasion, while dining at some posh joint or other, he asked for a southern (American) favorite drink of "Iced tea".

After a long pause, the waiter indicated (ever so politely) that they didn't serve that beverage. My FIL reminded them that all you had to do was brew tea and pour it over ice. The waiter, with a painful grimace on his face, checked with his manager. Eventually, my FIL got his iced tea. He said that it was about the best **** tea he's ever had in his life too. [8D]

I so wish that I had been there to witness it.

warspite1 -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (2/25/2017 8:47:44 PM)

Returned from a nice curry with my little warspites. Am now relaxing in front of the computer, catching up on events and listening to Clubbed to Death and drinking a nice big mum of TEA. Life is good [8D]

Orm -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (2/26/2017 6:14:42 PM)

Warm, spicy, tea. Snow outside. The German panzers are on the way into the plains of Flanders. Life is indeed good.

warspite1 -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (6/19/2017 6:25:56 PM)

Anybody fancy a brew? I'm just going to the kitchen to make myself one.

LarryP -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (6/19/2017 6:29:27 PM)

With cream...

Orm -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (6/24/2017 11:49:26 AM)

Time for afternoon tea.

I wonder if I should try a new blend.

Orm -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (7/2/2017 12:02:53 PM)

Warm summer day and I test MWIF while sipping mint tea. Life couldn't be much better than this, unless a AI for MWIF was released. [:D]

warspite1 -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (7/16/2017 7:46:47 PM)

Mmmm a few minutes to Poldark. As its my butler's night off I think I'll nip to the kitchen to make myself a cup of tea. Anyone fancy one?

Rosseau -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (7/16/2017 7:59:44 PM)

A cup of poppy seed tea, please? [;)]

Just kidding of course. I am currently addicted to peanut butter and jelly.

zakblood -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (7/16/2017 8:11:14 PM)

Orm -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (7/17/2017 8:39:12 AM)

I suppose warm mild can work although I can not remember ever trying it before bed time.

Late evening I rather go for herbal tea.

altipueri -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (7/17/2017 9:07:29 AM)

I have an unopened pack of Chinese green tea called "Special Gunpowder" which I'm not prepared to open.

I'm actually wasting time this morning to delay getting down to doing some unpleasant admin and, for reasons too complicated to explain here, came across this odd bit about how wild boar are hunted:

"In Nepal, farmers and poachers eliminate boars by baiting balls of wheat flour containing explosives with kerosene oil, with the animals' chewing motions triggering the devices."

From: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_boar

My wife love making tea, and tea set and tea time is very important for her, also high tea from time to time.. she buys a lot from a store called Fortune and mason, I dont know much about tea but its indeed has great taste things she bring, also the short bread and cookies/ biscuits.
For me I prefer coffee.

Game of Thrones teas ...

http://www.adagio.com/signature_blend/blend.html?blend=27876

Ridiculous. A Stark would only drink Yorkshire Tea. [:D]

Yorkshire Gold. Fit for a King of the North!

Hentzau -> RE: Lets talk tea... again. (7/20/2017 3:45:30 AM)

Someone on another forum recommended PG Tips to me, and I see it mentioned here. It's awesome tea, and Target carries it. I drink a pitcher or two a week of iced PG Tips. Might try some tea from Trader Joe's someday, as I've heard it can be good and is a bit cheaper.

Had a barley tea at a Korean restaurant. I liked the food, but not the barley tea.

Britain’s daily cuppa could soon taste different. The picking of high quality tea in Darjeeling has been brought to a virtual standstill by ethnic unrest. [:(]

Ah. Saturday morning before the little warspites awake, no Saturday classes to drive to.

So just chillin' working on some operational plans and Fuhrer directives for Matrix World In Flames, while listening to some qualiteeee music and partaking of a nice mug of tea.

Nice [8D]
