Tracker gives the vp ratio at 2.316 to 1, up .005 for the day on 197 points lost. Allies gained 281 points, while Japan lost 116 due to troop losses and probably low supply. I still have a cushion, but I fear another landing on Honshu will do me in tied with the loss of Chungking. The naval bombardments are savaging my troops, even behind level 5 or 6 forts...and they keep coming, and coming, and coming. I am hoping the Allies will miscalculate their broad advance in China and I will be able to hold, for a little while, at Canton and Changsha. Plus any delays I can garner in the defense of Chungking will be well worth it hence the bombing runs planned for the Chinese in the Central Plains. Rather than using my BBs to fight his surface fleets, I am thinking the best use is a CAP trap in the Yellow Sea. Tally ho, lots of fighting left to do.[;)] PS: I am probably going to crack like a rotten egg here...I doubt I can stop the Allies on Honshu.
