Agelastus -> US Lend Lease Build Point Going Missing (2/28/2014 5:01:18 PM)

Solitaire Game patched to 1.1.5

In the attached save-game (done at the final production phase) the USA has agreed to send 5 build points to the Commonwealth. However, only four are shipped despite the fact that there is a spare convoy chain to the UK.

US Option 27 (Lend Lease to Western Allies) has been picked which says that 5 build points can be sent.
US Option 32 (US Refutes Naval War Zones) has been picked that allows US convoys to be used.

I've played the game through a little further, and the USA gets to use the build point it has not shipped.

Unless there's a rules wrinkle I've missed, something seems to be wrong here.

this is a known bug. there are minor issues with sending BP.

Have had a similar problem, sending 1 BP to FF. This makes FF pretty useless, and although US can build enough units of its own the Allies really miss being able to use the FF actions for anything except naval.

Yep - we know. This one is not low on the list. I would bet it will be grouped with other convoy and production problems when Steve takes on that last area of nastyness. When I do not know, but first we need to finish the supply stuff.

With the current version of the program (1.2.1.0 - which should be available as a Public Beta sometime next week) I was able to change the route for the oil point resource from the United Kingdom to Libreville (Free France). The previous route for that resource had used a convoy that was necessary for sending the 5th build point from the US to the United Kingdom. Once the UK to Libreville route was changed, the program found a route for the 5th build point without any additional input from the player (in this instance, me).

Changing the route for the UK - Libreville oil point required eliminating all the sea areas in the route and making the first sea area the Bay of Biscay. Previously the route had started in the Faeroes Gap and then gone to the Bay of Biscay; since the overseas route could start in the Bay of Biscay, removing the Faeroes Gap from the route caused no harm, and made a convoy in the Faeroes Gap available for the US to UK build point.
