OK. Am I just missing it, or what? How do you change the background color for the land units? Warhunter, your work is great, but please share the secret.

Look in the original Khaki in Flames thread, forgot how that one is named, but it is refered in the KiF threads.

Ok, dummy me. Figured out that if you don't install the map data, the land units will not change. Thanx to Axel for his extreme patience.

LOL - should have looked it up for you, but was a weekend away and had only my iPad.
Nice colours for the ribbon! If you have the smaller version I will wear them proudly!

I can make it any size you like. Let me know.

A post just to thank you all for your hard work ^^

Hello everyone.
I'm a newbie on this forum but not to Wif. Even if I did not had an occasion to play since 2006. I just acquired the computer version and I'm very pleased. Thank you for all this amazing job (and despite quite a few bugs ;) ). I already changed to Khif, and looked to the great job done to change colors of many other nations. I'm sorry if I missed something obvious, but I didn't find how to download this mod. Thank you very much and excuse my english, I'm just a poor frenchman.

Right above the sticky posts at top right you should see "Display topics from last:" with a drop down arrow beside the current setting of 365 days. Use the drop down to select "All topics".

Then you'll see the threads on page two and three which are older than one year. Probably you are looking for this one:

That was near the top of the second page. You may find others you like.

It was so obvious... [8|] Thanks! [:)]

You're doing a great work but I cannot understand your choice for the colour of Italian units. If you want change the standard light green of the original units you must remember that the "national" colour of the italian army in WWII was the "grigioverde" graygreen. So please rethink your choice. Thanks.[;)]

Aranthus -> RE: Custom changes to your counter mix (4/23/2020 5:49:00 PM)

Probably a dumb question, but when you change the background color on air and naval units, how do you get the border of the image to look right? Is there a graphics program that automatically feathers the edge of the image to the background so that it doesn't look choppy?

jjdenver -> RE: Custom changes to your counter mix (12/25/2020 1:24:13 PM)

I haven't read all 6 pages of this thread. But the colors look great. If we want to install the colors in this mod, is it a download? Or we have to manually go in and edit WIF files. If the former where is the DL, and if the latter is there a concise set of steps somewhere about what we need to do to match the counters shown in this thread? ty :)

Did you try the link in post #158 above?
