The developers should be thanked for the inclusion of many female characters and units. It is very nice to see a non-sexist adventure strategic game for a change. They may also find they sell more to women and girls, who can be expected to have little interest in games in which the females serve only as eye candy. In general I have been very impressed with how well and how often the developers have responded to requests/suggestions for improving the game.
