Ironfist Vs Sztartur or USA vs Finland. Augs, 1944. This will be good I've never pitted the Fins' agianst the US before. Weather and terrain are good. Vis 16. 20 turns. 6k. All tournement rules and no air or special forces. As soon as my opponent returns on the 17th or so the Battle will begin.The Game is set :D Men of the Nordland Div. stand ready.

Jesper and I just finished our round 3 game. I was Russian Jesper was Aznac. It was a tough game. Bad movement yet high visibility and Per turn VH. I was able to grab the Per turn VH and hold on to them the whole game. This is what led to my high score. Me Russian 22,515 Marginal victory. Jesper Aznac 8,833 Marginal Defeat. I think the game would have been a draw if the VH had not been per turn. Good game Jesper. So who am I playing in Round 4. I will be playing the US this time I believe.

Gary A good fight it was. And spite my lucky dispose of your ammo dump in the start, you rallied you artillery very well. Made it impossible for my infantry to reach the V-hexes, the smoke made my long range 17 pdr useless (I wish the ANZAC had Fireflies in '43), and all your AAA and 57 mm ATG kept any light armoured vehicles away. I simply hadn't made the right pick of forces for the job at hand - but you certainly had. Good Luck to you - I'm 1/3 now and out of the WC for now. Regards Jesper "Stonefire"

Well, the fight between Sandman and Shiner has come to an end. Final score being Sandman(US) 9526 to Shiner(Germany) 5928. It was a very tough fight. Sandman had 6 3in AT guns, 155 and 75 off-board Arty. I managed to knock-out 3 of his AT guns but the other three were tough because they were moved every now and then. so it was hard to get a bead on them. They would just set up behind the American lines and pop anything that came within their line of fire. I thought we had all agreed to keeping big AT guns to a limit of no more than a platoon and that there was to be no off-board arty. Maybe I was wrong. Anyway, goodluck Sandman. Just keep those 6 AT guns safe and I assure you that you will win WC03. Red, Thank you for setting the WC up for us all. I am already looking forward to WC04. Regards, Shiner

I really needed those all AT-guns, because I knew you will have Panthers and they can see through the smoke and flames in SPWAW 7.1. Without AT-guns, it should be an easy victory to you I think and tough fight it was still.;) As far as I know, there was no any limits at amount of AT guns and OFF board arty is allowed also. -sandman Red, I'm ready to round 5 and waiting for my opponent.

So from what I can tell sandman advances to round 5, Gary Tatro advances to round 4. Also as I stated before one of the 1/3 group would advance to round 4 after being randomly chosen and that player is .... (drum roll) Belisarius So it's Gary Tatro vs Belisarius

My records indicate you have 2/2 status so even though you haven't played round 3, you are enetered into Round 4. Since (afaik) there are no players available to play against you in round 4, I can play against you.

1/3 group includes hades red cpt shoe willy stonefire after randomly selecting a player out the group willy came out as the lucky winner and he enters Round 4 against patriot101

Hi everyone, trying to get a role call. I know that we were down to a few contenders. Five, and that I had assigned combatants. But now I don't remember who was assigned what and what there game status is. So everyone sign in and let me know what your status is please. I appologize for my not being around, real life issues. I will be touching base now and again still, but not often and probably only to continue that tornement to its end.

Scharfschuetze and I are about 3/4 or so through our battle. We should be restarting on Wed this week. I would say that my opponent has a substantial points lead over my poor Brits ...

Hi guys, I have finished both of my games: dodger(GER) vs Sandman(US) ended in my Marginal victory with 22881 against Sandman's 7573 points. dodger(FIN) vs Viking(GER) ended in a draw with points favoring me 8733 against 7727. -Jani

Allright, after much fighting and a major fire raging in the woods, my Cossacks prevailed and forced the Brits back. Final points ~12000:6000 for a soviet marginal victory. :)

How can you argue with a Buzzard[8\|] I looks as if it will be Dodger in the finals unless things drasticly change in my game with Sandman[:(]

Congradulations to both of you for making it this far. I commend you skills, sneakyness, ability to out guess your opponent, and luck. Look forward to reading through an AAR, and the completion of the tournement. What am I doing latly, why I am busy counting beans. :(
