Got all the Japanese done and created. Looks GOOD!

Tomorrow will see me create the new Allied ship classes and then add the new wessels. Once those are done and placed, we'll then shift over to creating a CRAPLOAD of air groups for all the new ships.

Should have that done tomorrow night.

Michael and I talked tonight and came up with some additional stuff that needs to be done/added:

1. A recon version of the Kate that upgrades to the recon variant of Judy.
2. Some ground work with Allied units.
3. Adding the Aussie DDs, an AS, and 2 SS.
4. Chatted about those Japanese AMC that start WAY down SW on Dec 7th.

Are there other items we've discussed that I have forgotten?

Hi John, What about a few DD's for the NZ CLV? Also I sent an email last night with a rough art for a NZ Buffalo. Did you get it? And is it OK to use? We had a strong T-Storm go thru that messed up my modem. Seems OK today. I can try to refine it some more if ness. Also if its OK I can make one for the Aussies. Sorties for the Allied CLV's need to go to 60 or available sorties up to 90. As per the Pic I sent you.....

oldman45 -> RE: Treaty READY! (7/31/2014 6:57:17 PM)

Earlier in the thread I suggested some Aussie DD's get added per Don Bowen, a couple of those could be moved to NZ or more than likely shared.

John 3rd -> RE: Treaty READY! (7/31/2014 8:56:50 PM)

We'll use four of the DDs that were supposed to be transferred over to Australia. Should be enough to provide SOME screening.

Would make sense that the Aussies and NZ would work with them together.

John 3rd -> RE: Treaty READY! (8/1/2014 12:52:55 AM)

All new Allied wessels are created and placed on the board. Lookin' pretty good.

Am now shifting gears to create all the new air groups.

John 3rd -> RE: Treaty READY! (8/1/2014 1:23:39 AM)

May we all welcome the following Warships to the Royal Australian Navy?!!

DDs: Bundaberg, Tamworth, Mildura, and Katherine
AS: Albatross
SS: Boomerang and Didgeridoo

John 3rd -> RE: Treaty READY! (8/1/2014 2:34:30 AM)

Got all of the work done except FP Groups. Will have to tackle that tomorrow!

CaptBeefheart -> RE: Treaty READY! (8/1/2014 4:29:13 AM)

Will the Bundaberg be provisioned with rum?

Cheers,
CC

John 3rd -> RE: Treaty READY! (8/1/2014 5:09:27 AM)

I'm more interested in the Didgeridoo!

[:'(]

John 3rd -> RE: Treaty READY! (8/2/2014 2:50:55 AM)

COMPLETE!

Will be sending the files to play testers for a look...

John 3rd -> BTS Ready... (8/2/2014 3:19:23 AM)

Files sent to the play testers so we'll see if there are any issues.

John 3rd -> RE: BTS Ready... (8/3/2014 3:03:37 AM)

Juan performed a small miracle and found the boneheaded mistake I had made on the Japanese CAVs. THANKS SIR!

Will fix in a few minutes. Haven't heard of any other issues at this point.

Hi Stan. Yes, there will be 'some' airplane data that's tweaked, but one needs to look at the extent of the tweak and how it relates to the other airplanes in the database. And look seriously at Alt, Climb, Speed, Mvr Bands. Yesterday's 'gotta have' may not work with today's airframes, but why, in the world, should someone be forced into yesterday's nonsense just because it is WiTP Stock Canon? There's Gold in them 'thar hills.

That's good to hear. Making big cannons remotely useful just didn't seem a high priority to me, judging by the fact, that everyone caught on how terrible they are years ago (certainly past the release of Downfall, which allowed everyone to test all Japanese fighter-bombers to their hearts' content and notice that Ki-45 KAIa is still the most effective even against 4E bombers - and by a very large margin - because its 20mm cannon and machine guns at least can hit them), but there was no hints change so far.

Kitakami -> RE: Treaty READY! (8/8/2014 4:32:55 PM)

@John,

Please check G.6 classes 1747 and 1748. They have the same month and year, and 1747 upgrades to 1748. Is that as designed?
Same thing with Amagi classes 1742 and 1743.

The rest of the classes CL and bigger seem to be OK.

EDIT: The Mutsuki-class APDs cannot be converted to Es late in the war. I guess that is WAD?

Kitakami -> RE: Treaty READY! (8/8/2014 8:00:05 PM)

Also...

Regarding planes, shouldn't the B5N2-C be a type-5 recon, instead of a type-12 torpedo bomber?

Please forgive me for not checking the database before, but I have had a VERY busy last three weeks.

John 3rd -> RE: Treaty READY! (8/9/2014 4:30:06 AM)

Oi. I did not see these Posts til just now. Let me check in the morning and get a look.

btd64 -> RE: Treaty READY! (8/9/2014 12:42:17 PM)

Vader5 -> BTS Air Replacement System (8/9/2014 4:19:08 PM)

John, do you have a cheat sheet on how to use new air replacement system in BTS? I'm getting a PBEM game started and need help.

John 3rd -> RE: BTS Air Replacement System (8/9/2014 4:24:47 PM)

Juan has produced a very nice two page description of its uses and 'how to' guide. Just asked him to Post it here.

btd64 -> RE: BTS Air Replacement System (8/9/2014 6:25:46 PM)

John, I just got off work and saw the above post. Attached is the Air purchase system doc...GP

Could you Post that here Sir? I did not get the email...

John 3rd -> RE: Treaty READY! (8/9/2014 10:50:02 PM)

Have spent the afternoon working to consolidate ALL the special ship art done for the three Mods. Should allow for simpler work so there is less confusion. Will be doing the same for Air Art next.

John 3rd -> RE: Treaty READY! (8/9/2014 11:22:19 PM)

Fixed the minor issues Kitakami found. Have uploaded the current Mods to the web page.

Interlocutor -> RE: Treaty READY! (8/10/2014 1:58:22 PM)

John, Vader5 and I are poised to begin a BTS PBEM game. This may be a newbie question, but if we begin a game, will future fixes to BTS be compatible with a BTS "game in progress"?

This will be the third AE PBEM game for each of us, Vader5 & I, though our previous PBEM games involved different opponents for both of us. Thanks for your work on this mod, and for the work done by your colleagues as well.

JuanG -> RE: Treaty READY! (8/10/2014 8:58:49 PM)

Here is the .pdf version of the Aircraft Purchases Guide.

As long it is only database changes you will be good.

The chances of major issues within BTS is very thin due to it simply being existing RA 7.0 PLUS Treaty. Go for it!

John 3rd -> RE: Treaty READY! (8/11/2014 12:12:36 AM)

Thanks Juan for Posting that.

btd64 -> RE: Treaty READY! (8/11/2014 7:10:25 PM)

John, has anyone seen the issue I posted in post 264 above? I'm going to redownload tonight and see what happens. I have a little me time.[8D]
....GP

btd64 -> RE: Treaty READY! (8/11/2014 7:32:43 PM)

John, See attached picture below. Had time so I downloaded from the RA site. Also checked a Fulmar and it art is missing....GP
EDIT; This is from BTS dated 8-9-14.
