Hi everybody,

I have the chance to (finally) buy wite and I find a boxed version in German version.
My question very very simple : will be the game in german or english ? I don't care about the manual since I can find the english version on line but for the game it's a complete different matter.....

The game will be in german ..... but if you move/rename one file the majority will be in english. Just the scenario texts will stay in german and you have to move/rename the file every time you install a patch.
The file in question is translations.csv in the \Dat subfolder

I purchased the same version as you- and per Denniss' advice, it's simply a matter of renaming the "translations.csv" whereby everything defaults to English, with the exception of the 'Start' menu and Scenario texts/descriptions. There is in fact one scenario in the listing which remains in English. Apart from that everything works perfectly.

If someone would be kind enough to post copies of the Scenario Texts in English (assuming that does not violate any rules) that would be greatly appreciated. They are very small tracts easily copy and pasted or wrapped up in a zip file. Thanks in advance.

Please backup the english scenario text files of your german installation, in 1.08 they will be replaced by translated files.
