I got a shipped notice on the 15th and received my copy by USPS Priority Mail on the 17th. I live in Indiana. Really fantastic service.

Bamilus -> RE: Receiving books in time for Xmas? (12/20/2014 8:11:40 PM)

Got mine last Sunday but was away on travel so just opened it up last night. Even better than the WIF books, truly awesome quality!

warspite1 -> RE: Receiving books in time for Xmas? (12/20/2014 8:14:46 PM)

Well if the MWIF books are the dogs dangly bits, and this is better, what does that make the WITW book? [X(]

No clue but I just wanna say I lurk the WIF forums all the time and I love your posts/AAR's. Eventually I'll have enough time to try and play that game but in the meantime I enjoy reading your stuff!

Love the book ... well worth the extra $$ for this physical shipment. Having that book there for reference while playing is just awesome. I have all my manuals on my eReader too ... but there is something about having that hard cover manual that I prefer.

Baelfiin -> RE: Receiving books in time for Xmas? (12/20/2014 10:36:20 PM)

I find it also handy to block random objects tossed at me by my wife when I tell her I am too busy plotting air directives to come to dinner [:D]

I think the same, they are ran out Books and waiting for new ones. Strange is the priority oft the delivery, people that have order after the 4th DEC, get the Copy right in time and bevor here in germany [&:][&:][&:]

I dispatched my order on 4th of December as well. If Matrix really ran out of books they should at least inform us.

Franciscus -> RE: Receiving books in time for Xmas? (12/21/2014 11:46:07 AM)

Ordered on the 16th, it was shipped to Portugal on the 18th, waiting for snail mail [:D]

Merry Xmas !

Devonport -> RE: Receiving books in time for Xmas? (12/22/2014 7:41:39 AM)

Well mine arrived today, and as others have said - well worth having. I find it easier to manage than on screen pdf and it looks good too. Ordered on the 4th, despatched on the 16th and arrived today - not bad given the time of year. I have to say that Matrix/2by3 have done a great job in making this game accessible for someone who didn't have WITE. It is easy to play (badly) but with so much depth that each time I play I learn new things, do better, and get more enjoyment. The Player's Handbook, tutorials, and early AAR's have been really helpful. Above all the forums are (mostly) friendly and helpful, especially for someone like me who is not computer savvy. Apart from a couple of idiots who can be ignored, this is a knowledgeable and enjoyable place to come and learn about the game and WW2. The accessibility (and patience) of Joel, Pavel and Erik is an example for others to emulate.

As I'm also from Germany (München), I can say that I received my book on the 18th of December already.
So it does not seem to be a problem with German customers in general.

Gettysburg -> RE: Receiving books in time for Xmas? (12/22/2014 9:24:50 AM)

I order it 4 hours later. Thank you very mutch[:)]!! And happy xmas

Gilmer -> RE: Receiving books in time for Xmas? (12/22/2014 12:08:18 PM)

Here's sending a Christmas wish that you all get your book before Christmas!!Especially to the ones in Germany who seem to not be getting it as quickly.

Raikkonen -> RE: Receiving books in time for Xmas? (12/22/2014 2:51:12 PM)

Ordered 12/16 in the US. Got a shipment notification 12/18, two days later! Arrived today (12/22) via FedEx from the other side of the country!

As an aside, I ordered a few other games and several cases were crushed, which also ruined the nice color inserts! I wonder who packs these things? I don't think FedEx throwing it around could crush 3 cases, but I guess it's possible. The book and outer box were fine, which makes me think they were packed like that. Submitted a help ticket for several cases and two color inserts. One of the cases was in pieces. I trust Matrix Customer Service will help and the feedback may be helpful to them.

The book is extremely nice! Slightly smaller than I thought from the photos, but still the size of a textbook. I feel like I am back in grade school and should use the paper grocery bag to put a book cover on it before class starts!

Raikkonen -> RE: Receiving books in time for Xmas? (12/22/2014 3:15:58 PM)

Quick follow up. As expected, great customer service from Matrix! Already received a reply that they will take care of it!

VilleYrjola -> RE: Receiving books in time for Xmas? (12/22/2014 8:39:48 PM)

I've had problems with crushed game cases as well when ordering from Matrix. After Command Modern Air/Naval Operations came in a crushed box I emailed them and in return got 5 empty boxes in return. I still have couple left just in case and will order more if the same happens again. I'm really happy with the way Matrix handled the situation.

Lützow -> RE: Receiving books in time for Xmas? (12/22/2014 9:31:25 PM)

Got a notice from DHL today that my order was shipped. So I expect it tomorrow or Wednesday.

Gettysburg -> RE: Receiving books in time for Xmas? (12/23/2014 1:22:33 PM)

Got it!![:)][:)]. Fantastic book. Thank you matrix. Lützow, i hope you get it today

Lützow -> RE: Receiving books in time for Xmas? (12/23/2014 4:37:36 PM)

Thank you, I received it. DHL handed the shipment to my neighbour, as I haven't been at home.

MrFreeze -> RE: Receiving books in time for Xmas? (12/23/2014 6:58:42 PM)

has anyone from Canada received his book? Mine was sent 9 days ago but still not in my box, I should have taken the express option...

jnpoint -> RE: Receiving books in time for Xmas? (12/23/2014 7:05:23 PM)

Well I can see that the Germans got their books, but here in Denmark it will arrive between 27. and 31. December. I think I read about another Canadian who would get his book after New Year.

Most likely a shipping issue - we can replace any damaged boxes, the Help Desk is the right place to contact.

I'm in US and still haven't got mine. Ordered day game was out. So, think shipping will very a lot depending on where in US you live.

ROES -> RE: Receiving books in time for Xmas? (12/24/2014 12:21:24 PM)

Gremell -> RE: Receiving books in time for Xmas? (12/31/2014 6:35:04 AM)

I live in Brisbane, Australia, and my manual arrived today, December 31.

I wholeheartedly support the praise for the manual from the other members on this forum. It's a first-class effort and fully reflects the research, hard word and brainpower that went into this product.

I'm a very happy customer.

I'm also impressed with the delivery. My notification email said I would receive the manual by January 2, so I'm delighted it's arrived early ... especially to Australia.
