The 12 troops lost represents the load cost of a single device. In this instance it could be an African infantry squad, or African combat engineer squad or the generic Support squad, as these devices all have a load cost of 12. If the landing had been effected by an Australian unit, and the reported loss was 11 troops then you would know for certain that you had lost a single AIF infantry squad because their load cost is 11. In other news, Sorong gets pulverized by multiple BB night bombardment. I think they are just getting intel that the AF is operational and therefore shutting it down. They don't know there is bingo supply. Some activity near Manokwari. They can see us island hopping up the coast and that is the next base.
