Accuracy seems to be poor on TB/DB once the CAP gets through the escort and starts to take down bombers. For some reason seeing their comrades go down in flames is a bit distracting.

Cap Mandrake -> RE: At dawn we slept.....in the cab on the way back from Olongapo (1/12/2016 3:10:25 PM)

Well, the bloody Japs didn't tell us they were going to send the KB. It is fair to say that several USMC SBD squadrons are going to need lots of parchisi sets and cigarettes to boost their morale.

Cap Mandrake -> RE: At dawn we slept.....in the cab on the way back from Olongapo (1/12/2016 4:31:43 PM)

Update on the League of Extraordinary Misandrists. My current thinking is the hostess of the party was the chief troublemaker. She appears to have been suffering from Temporary Psychopathic Misandry Syndrome(TPMS) perhaps triggered by etoh, ganja and prescription meds and perhaps some kind of misandriacal flashback.

When some of the League began to question the allegation she attempted to buttress her story with detail....
Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to confabulate...

She claimed to have witnessed Kama Sutra position number 217-R in the living room in close proximity to the
couch (which was occupied by one of the bottle-fatigued League members).
Owing to PG's "sisters's" Chapultapec heritage, there is a significant height difference between the alleged
participants. I pointed out that 217-R would have required a small trapeze set or at least a step-ladder and that the sleeping League member on the couch surely would have noticed something, the tide began to shift.

Next time I am at a gathering and I see a book that says "Surviving Schizophrenia" I am leaving.

Cap Mandrake -> RE: At dawn we slept.....in the cab on the way back from Olongapo (1/12/2016 6:10:59 PM)

This is Kama Sutra: Prison Edition position 1-R

You missed your chance Cap. You could have been kept by the group of them as a manstress.

Too late. I just took a position on the El Chapo security detail. Pay is pretty good. Much safer too.

Turns out El Chapo had the hots for this Mexican actress, Kate Del Castillo and they tracked him down because of their Blackberry texts which the Mexican authorities were able to decrypt using a secret backdoor IT access. I didn't work out because she found out his nickname (El Chapo "Shorty") did not apply to his height.

So I fill out this Family Medical Leave Act Form for the mother of a patient with asthma. The questions are idiotic and recursive and self-contradictory so I just do the best I can and send it in.

Then the HR dept. of the place where she works send it back for "clarification"

__"1 episode every 3 months with 2 days off during flare ups and 1 episode per year with 7 days off for appointments"

-or-

__"3 episodes every 1 month with 3 days off for flare ups and/or 2 episodes per year with 5 days off per appointments and/or inpatient hospitalizations of less than 14 days"

WTF? How the Holy Hell am I supposed to answer that?

I picked the first one and signed it "Pythia, Oracale of Delphi".

Lecivius -> RE: At dawn we slept.....in the cab on the way back from Olongapo (1/14/2016 7:09:57 PM)

Or maybe she too was objecting to the use of a "secret backdoor access".

A guy with a Sinaloa accent left a message on my cell..."Joo better stop los El Chapo chokes, amigo, comprendes? El Chapo would never do that. Joo think he ees some kind of animal?"

Let's get on another topic.[:)]

The Jap armada is closing in on Melbourne. I have to say we deduced this as a likely target quite a while ago based on strategic conversations in another thread. We diverted parts of two US divisions and have some other help coming. We just don't have enough P-40's/P-39's to hold off the Zero jockeys on the KB. Once they land, of
course, there is not much to stop JJ from driving down from Brisbane either. We may end up with two desperate sieges in Sydney and Melbourne.

"Fox News Latino reports that Hernandez was a high-ranking member of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzman's Sinaloa Cartel, although other news sources say she had ties to the Juarez Cartel. She was nabbed in Chihuahua, Mexico, but is wanted in the United States, where she oversaw a cocaine smuggling operation that extended from El Paso, Texas, to Chicago, Illinois.

She is expected to be extradited to the United States."

She didn't happen to be at a certain New Years party did she? That may explain the phone call......

She actually does look like one of the League of Extraordinary Misandrists who wasn't at the party. She is quite civlized and might just be an ersatz member or a junior member in training.

It seems crazy that they would try this invasion. They are going to trigger more emergency reinforcements than their invasion fleet brings in. I hope the invasion forces got the fish head soup recipe from their starving brethren on N&I C because they are going to need it.

At least some of KB's Kates are set on Naval/AF attack. This is a good strategy to not use the Vals because they take higher flak losses over a big ground target.
