Actually, after 1939 it was two 6 in guns. I don't that casemate would stop a round from Nachi

The concrete in front would probably do OK. So the guy with the cool hat in the lower left might be a survivor; depends on the die roll...

This is the miracle waters of Achilles bit. Most likely JJ is low on ammo. [:)] Even so, a good time was had by all aboard Jupiter. You might say they were over the moon.

************Disney mind teasers...one in an occasional series************

Everyone knows about Sleeping Beauty and her famously long hair but did the curtain match the drapes? In other words, was her pubic hair fantastically long as well? I watched the movie 3 times. They don't tell you.

Here's another one:

Why did Aladdin have two hands? Wasn't he under sharia?

Only the Disney artists know for sure.

I don't think I really want to know

Ah, yes, the 2010 off Broadway production. I tried out for Prince Charming. Didn't get it. They said they were looking for "non-cis-gendered actors"

This is true but I don't think she was a Disney property.

Another Disney mind-bender:

How come Donald Duck wears a towel when he gets out of the shower but the rest of the time he doesn't wear pants?

Cap Mandrake -> RE: At dawn we slept.....in the cab on the way back from Olongapo (2/24/2016 2:45:14 PM)

We lose a few RAF Hurris over Geelong but we do shoot down about an equal number of Oscars and Zeroes.

Fighters, dive bombers and torpedo bombers at Melbourne get ready for the fight.

Combat units at Melbourne. Some of the infantry is understrength.

So he doesnt get the floor wet?

I have noticed a lot of Japanese players going for the East coast of Australia lately. Have not seen any really great Coups from these actions across many AAR's.

Cap Mandrake -> RE: At dawn we slept.....in the cab on the way back from Olongapo (2/24/2016 3:52:51 PM)

This attack may work but it will be a challenge to capture Melbourne. Sydney will be more difficult to hold I think.

That is pretty good but why not a floor mat then?

This one may make your head blow up.

How come Goofy can talk but Pluto can't?

Are you short on pilots or deliberately keeping the number of pilots in a squadron below maximum?

How did a Hurricane squadron with 1 operational aircraft and 14 pilots get a fatigue factor of 16? Too many female admirers? [sm=00001746.gif][sm=love0028.gif]

John B. -> RE: At dawn we slept.....in the cab on the way back from Olongapo (2/24/2016 4:01:05 PM)

Because Goofy walks on two legs and Pluto on four.

THE NEW SPITFIRES ARE HERE! THE NEW SPITFIRES ARE HERE!............Just kidding. 32 brand new Spitfire
Vc sitting around in Cape Town and we can't use them for 6 1/2 months.[:@]

Sadly, no. The survivors of No. 242 Sqdrn spent the night packing up the lockers of their missing squadron mates.[:(]

Hey, that's pretty good. I once had a 5 year old tell me when asked that Disney riddle, "Dude, Pluto has an owner" [:D]

FAM: <asking about symptoms of a 4 year old with fever yesterday> Does anything hurt?

4 year old: Yeah, my torso. [:D][:D][:D]

Tuned out he had pneumonia.

Pluto does talk. He's just too far away to hear. [8D]

I heard that since his namesake was downgraded to a planetoid he isn't speaking to anyone ...[sm=nono.gif]

Cap Mandrake -> RE: At dawn we slept.....in the cab on the way back from Olongapo (2/24/2016 9:55:38 PM)

[:D][:D] I have to admit these are MUCH better answers than I usually get from a 4 or 5 year old! They never use literary references either.

Cap Mandrake -> RE: At dawn we slept.....in the cab on the way back from Olongapo (2/24/2016 10:05:10 PM)

I have always thought Pluto got screwed.

1) He has to take orders from a mouse who would need a backpack to "curb his dog"

2) Then he gets downgraded to a planetoid even though he has 5 moons

3) Then someone postulates there is another, larger planet outside the orbit of Pluto
