In the rude names for warships competition at the Admiralty the following came out the winner: HMS Cockchafer. I was wondering if anyone had anything more risqué?

I spent a few days on the HMS Beaver.

I'm a bit late to this party, but I nominate HMS Chuffer - a torpedo magnet of course.

The RN had the colony, town and county class cruisers, so how about a "notable street" class of AMs. Bugis Street? Reeperbahn?

CL Natori have unfortunate outbreak of disease on this cruise. Happened shortly after some of the crew visited a few of the French POWs at Noumea. They are calling it "Regionnaires Disease".

With Easter coming up maybe the Japanese in Tasmania may let their guard down concerning "Tasmanian Bunnies".

They may have let their guard down at Launceston. We snuck a reserve unit back there and will try a snack attack today.

Sure, I could go back and put the "P" in front of "robably", but what is the point, really? Instead, I am going to go out and finish the raised vegetable
planter.

1st Marine Raider Bn will land at Tualgi in about 8 days.

Not if they find out Ginger and Mary Ann are so close by. The Staff better keep their lips sealed on that little secret.

Yes a battalion of Marines would significantly increase the carnal demand compared to the Skipper and the Professor (assuming Gilligan is gay). Maybe Mrs. Howell could pitch in.

Cap Mandrake -> RE: At dawn we slept.....in the cab on the way back from Olongapo (3/26/2016 7:47:06 PM)

Mary Ann made good coconut cream pies by all reports but her head is WAAAAAY too big for her body.

And in a breaking story, the British Natural Environment Research Council decided that letting the internet choose the name of its latest ship was a good idea... and they are now going to name the ship*:

R.S.S. BOATY McBOATFACE!!! [X(] [:D]

Rumo(u)r is that will use a bottle of Capris Sun instead of champagne to christen this noble vessel...[;)]

http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2016/mar/20/eccentric-choices-surface-in-quest-to-name-polar-research-vessel

* After re-reading the Guardian article, it appears that they actually haven't officially bestowed the moniker on the ship yet -- a piece on NPR presented this as a done deal, and i foolishly believed them... [8|] [:-]

Mary Ann was "nicer". Ginger you want to serve a couple of fermented coconut drinks to.

Editrix Note: OK, that does it. What kind of Neanderthal thinks that using alcohol in that fashion is
permitted? This is the final warning.
