The Forum software detected too much intelligence in the thread...it was about to become sentient, like Skynet.

Simonsez -> RE: At dawn we slept.....in the cab on the way back from Olongapo (10/26/2019 11:15:32 PM)

The USS Nimitz suddenly emerges from the swirling clouds of a strangely electrified maelstrom. 2 F-14 Tomcats sit at cats 1 and 2 straining against their launch shuttles in full afterburner. An E2-C Hawkeye taxis slightly behind them waiting for its turn. A figure in yellow gives a snap salute and leans into the wind screaming over the bow of the carrier as it slices through the dark blue ocean......

Suddenly, six long lance torpedoes slam into the USS Nimitz. Escorts are unable to locate the Japanese Submarine.

Mandrake Expletives

When Cap gets restored/rebooted/re-whatever, how will he describe the experience?

Cap Mandrake -> RE: At dawn we slept.....in the cab on the way back from Olongapo (10/28/2019 3:05:10 PM)

I have respawned. Mostly intact but my left leg is partly transparent.

Sadly, Pinhead passed away. That messed everyone up at the Mandrake household. [:(] Very hard thing.

My sincere regrets. [:(]

I am glad to hear you are largely intact, and I suppose the leg being transparent is better than perhaps some other body parts being affected.
