This game is closer to operational level than to grand tactical. If you are a micro-manager, it is not for you. If you think like a general rather than a sergeant or a quarter master, then I would highly recommend the 'Warsaw to Paris' game. [The 'Case Blue' version is a dud that scales poorly . . . leading to "WW-I on the Western Front" transplanted to southern Russia in 1942. There is absolutely no room for maneuver.] You cannot create units. You cannot re-organize units. Your orders of battle are set - as by history. The main decisions are where to concentrate, how fast to advance, how long and where to hold . . . and remembering to use artillery and armour as intended. That, and keeping your forces in supply and command.
