Attacks against the large American Fleet off the south of Ireland were costly. Lost 11 Aircraft and a DD3. We were able to sink 6 DD2's and 6 SS3's. Beat back a Russian Armored spearhead around Tehran and encircled 2 Divs (temporarily). A high altitude bomber raid hammered at the infrastructure of the occupied city of Warsaw.

Sidney fell after an intense bombardment by USN battleships. US forces will continue to fight for Australia, as we also occupy positions in the Pacific (Tahiti) and the East Indies (Medan). USN carrier task forces are attacking at the mouth of the Gulf, and the mouth of the Red Sea. These task forces are operating independently, but are available to aid the progress of Chinese troops if this is advisable. On the west coast of Africa US forces continue to improve the infrastructure. We captured Luanda, and are going to continue to drive at British positions. There is not much valuable here, but taking the area will strengthen us and harm our enemies. Naval forces attacked the German fleet off Ireland.

The Italians cross the Donets pushing back the hard pressed Soviets who are now fighting the Italians Germans and now the British and the French, basically the whole of western Europe. The USA needs to come to their aid and quickly.

The French and British fight back this month, sinking 20 USN SS3's, while losing only a couple SS3's and a couple aircraft. The US occupied city of Copenhagen has been bombed to the point of no longer being a fortified city. And the Russians have lost tanks, aircraft, and infantry to concerted attacks in Poland, Turkey, and have been thrown out of the Persian Oil Fields, a victory of morale for the British and French middle east armies, even though most likely only a temporary setback. New Zealand continues to hold out in the Pacific, the only bright spot in an otherwise terrible dark time for the Commonwealth in that part of the world. The USA is having its way in the east, alongside its close ally China.

The German fleet off Ireland has been finished off. The USA did make some progress in Australia, but there are two cities yet to take. On the west coast of Africa we continue to improve infrastructure. In the north we lose troops and ships when we try to reinforce. The infrastructure improvements will help. We did take Casablanca. We want to get control of the sea lanes and the victory over the Germans will free vessels for patrolling. China is approaching the Middle East. Lots of Soviet troops there already. If we can reduce the petroleum resources reaching our enemies it will help a lot with air, naval and tank combat.

7 December 1942 The USN took some last licks at the enemy and then moved ... well moved somewhere? Tangiers fell, and a good bit of Africa is under American control now. The Chinese and Soviets are pressing into the Middle East, and some Chinese troops have arrived in southern Russia to confront the Italians.

The last file I have in my old turns folder is a Soviet turn from the 10th of March. I've put it in the game 19 DB folder. Anyone remember whose turn it was after the Soviets?

After the Soviet turn came the France/UK player (me). I have placed the France turn 65 and the next turn would be USA/China (cpdeyoung). I put my saved USA turn 65 in the folder.

I created a new Folder if we could transfer the files into that folder I can have access to the Italian turns.

Jan 1942 the Italians The Italians engaged the Chinese in and around Rostov and Stalingrad, the Italians were impressed with the Chinese overall. Progress towards Moscow was good with less of a solid Soviet front line with more fluid movement by the Italian Armoured forces was possible. The Italians had a better look at what the USA is bringing to the fight large numbers of the Heavy Tank the M26 were in evidence on the threshold of Europe in North Africa.

9 January 1943 The USN struck an Italian fleet near Gibraltar, and hurt it badly. The US is bringing forces to bear, but is not ready for a major attack yet. China took Baghdad, and overran much of Iraq. Kuwait now sends its oil to China, not Italy.

The Italian navy retreated in good order, the Italian naval command in Rome now finding it easier to supply and maintain the fleet. Minsk was captured and the Italians can see the domes of St Basils.
