Good afternoon, Gentlemen, Ladies, Aliens, Barbarians, Smegheads, Geniuses, Warrant Officers, Gits, Explorers, Mammals, Marshals, Worms, Nerds, Generals, Zorch, Soldiers, and good afternoon to the rest of you as well.

Are those categories exclusive or can you be in more than one?

I am not defining who you are, so yes, you can be in more than one.

As a Git, I strongly object to being lumped with Geniuses. You'll be hearing from my lawyers. [X(]

As you were clearly named, I might have a defence.

As the position of Zorch was vacant I occupied it so it is no longer available. Defence void.

What happened to Chickenboy's position? He had his own category before.

Hello, RangerJoe.

Hello Orm. Are you getting ready for fall and that nice northern winter when there are no mosquitoes?

Plus I'm well represented in the aforementioned parade of adjectives. [:'(]

Chickenboy -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (9/2/2019 8:20:52 PM)

Happy Labor Day to all my American Thread Brothers!

Chickenboy -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (9/2/2019 8:21:22 PM)

Gonna light up the grill and BBQ up some leg quarters before too long. [8D]

Chickenboy -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (9/2/2019 8:21:41 PM)

But I happened to notice something that needed my attention first.

Chickenboy -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (9/2/2019 8:22:24 PM)

Couldn't live with myself if I permitted the ongoing Ranger Joe or Nashvillen tyranny!

Chickenboy -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (9/2/2019 8:22:44 PM)

So...a clean new page.

All hail THE THREAD!!! [&o]

Happy Labor day to you. Yes, this is the day that expectant American mothers-to-be should give birth. After all, a legal holiday was made for that purpose. [;)]

Telemecus -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (9/2/2019 8:41:51 PM)

So in America Labor day is the day when there is no labor?

p.s. it should have a 'u' in it too!

In the United States, it is Labor. In English, it is labour.

At last - an implicit admission that people in the United States do not write (or probably speak) English!
OTOH, I have trouble speaking 'Murican'.

I have stayed in Winnipeg and had no trouble understanding the people there. It was a rather large estate north of the city on the Red River of the North. I have been elsewhere in Canada and have had no trouble understanding their version of English either.

Good point! I've often wondered if it's supposed to be "eh" or "eh?" or " 'eh?" myself. I guess I'll never master hoser-speak.

The McKenzie brothers are so disappointed in you, hoser.

Hello, RangerJoe.

Hello Orm. Are you getting ready for fall and that nice northern winter when there are no mosquitoes?

No. I prefer when the sun is up, and the people are cheerful.

Besides. Most mosquitoes here do not transit dreadful diseases. Please pester Chickenboy for details.
