I have been shot to prevent at least one of those diseases. Ask Chickenboy about friendly chiggers. Also, ticks carry some pretty nasty things as well. I heard of a new one that makes you allergic to beef. I think that the cows invented that one.

Now that was pretty cool. I saw on the news this evening a neighborhood near the University set up tables 1200' long on the street
and had a neighborhood Dinner. Neato!
Here, my neighbor a 1/2 block away in August always sets up an 8' x 12' TV screen in his front yard and shows movies. Complete with popcorn
machine. He gets around 30 to 40 people in the front yard. All free. City does the same in the park nearby. Coin toss on which movie to see.

It looks like we will miss all the excitement from Dorian here in the center of the state. Down at the coast is another story. The 2 day Bike MS ride in New Bern was scheduled for this weekend but has been cancelled. [:(]

The dive into improving my new ride (2018 Jeep Wrangler JLU Sport S) after last weeks 12 hour off road adventure has begun. Rocker guards (protect the side of the Jeep from BIG rocks) ordered along with the tools I need to install them that I didn't already have.

Next month a front bumper with a winch plate.

Month after that, a 5 Ton winch.

And, once we have my mom's estate settled a 2.5" lift and 35 inch Mud Terrain tire set (5) with new rims.

Glad I save so much on my gaming by playing WitP:AE!

BTW, we have "Team Building" at work today... rafting on near-by river... and it will be raining... sub 20 degrees Centigrade... [8D]

Upon arriving my idiot Labrador turned it into a pee fest. Entering the clinic he peed on the desk. On into the exam room he peed on the table. Leaving the exam room he peed on the doorway. Leaving the clinic he peed on my truck. Just allergies. Yep. Allergic to behaving.[:D]I ran out of apologies.
