Sorry for being so slow in getting back to you. No , my outlook is pretty much unchanged I've had a years worth of getting injections and implants every six weeks with no improvement. In a month or so I'll be going in for surgery , which is pretty much the last option. But , at least I have one working eye. Had the stroke been a little bit to the left it would have been my brain , and as limited as that is , it's the only one that I have. So I was very fortunate. quote:

ORIGINAL: AW1Steve Tithe. Long overdue. My apologies, I've remiss , as well as absent. [:(] I thought maybe you got caught up in the fall of Sauron's black tower in Mordor! Glad to see you are still about. Welcome back. [image]local://upfiles/35791/8049DB6F22A145A2BEC24946373843F7.gif[/image] Thank you. I'm not really back per se . I had a stroke just after last Christmas which left me pretty much blind in my right eye. (Despite nearly a year of getting shots in the eye , I can't read at all with it. Unfortunately that also has mead it difficult to read , especially computer screens). I've been "lurking " occassionally , and my long suffering partner in a PBEM , "Geoff the gorn" has put up with my trying to work on our PBEM. But I'm really not all that active on a computer these days. It's always good to look in and see that you guys are still mostly here though. It's good to see you, buddy! Very sorry to hear of your vision issues. Any chance that it could improve from this point? I think vision problems are one of the medical conditions that I would hate the most.
