Hi Phil, I might be inclined to give you a go but I'm not sure how to proceed. I kind of like how "Mayhemizer vs AllenK" are playing, seems productive and not too time consuming. I assume they are emailing each other after each impulse or at critical times in the game (e.g. at end of turns), then asking each other questions vis-à-vis the AAR when they have the ball (i.e. their impulse.

If you start a game and AAR I will follow it.
We send save files only at turn end. And in early game when Axis don't have much ships Axis give instructions for turn end (where ships return, production, where reinforcements go etc) and Allies do them all. Later Axis (Japan) have to do it. That way there is no need to send save file after every phase.

It is better, but not crucial, if your opponent and you are in similar time zones so you can be online together. Otherwise the game would proceed at a very leisurely pace if there was a few hours delay each time your opponent needs to respond to a question.
Good luck with getting a game going and hope to see another AAR on the forum.
