So, after reading a report of the Red Flag exercises that seemed to support my use of F-35s as mini-AWACS for Eurofighters (in the exercises it was raptors rather than f-35s, but most of the principles are the same), I decided to add f-15s to the USAF as the non-stealthy support. I tried it once with stealthy radars on, which the RAF won easily, since the F-35s ESM picked up the raptors radars before they picked up the f-35s, and more importantly the f-35s DAS allowed them to fix firing solutions. I then tried it 3 times with radars off, and the score was 3-2, 5-1 and 5-1 to the RAF. Next time I will go all stealth with the USA, f-35s and raptors, that should give the USAF the advantage again.
