If he's not going for Darwin... there's not much point in landing at the islands. They're too small to work on their own, without much in the way of port capability.

No better time to use my midget subs than now I think...severe storms, medium moon, no Allied detection on the midgets there. 700 mines, with close to 350 freshly laid and over 150 type 88s... I will also LRCAP the base...hoping to score an aerial ambush. No fast transports in or out tonight...but I did think about sending destroyers in...and I would if I though more troops were arriving (which I don't think to be the case). I should think they work better on patrol. This also lets you set them to a deep water hex if you want to see if they can survive an attack...

24x4=96 possible VP gift with all those midgets...I got to thinking if all those midgets would drain the op points of the bombardment fleets making them remain close by...vulnerable to a lurking KB strike. Missed opportunity perhaps?
