Here's a little favorite of mine, Suzanne Pleshette. You may remember her from Hitchcock's The Birds where she was one of the victims. Anyways she played Bob Newhart's wife in The Bob Newhart Show which ran for six seasons. Bob Newhart was a straight man who didn't need a sidekick. He could make anything seem hilarious. After that show he did the Newhart show, which ran for eight seasons. In it he was a New England innkeeper and the show was similar to Fawlty Towers except instead of John Cleese you had the straight man, Newhart, and nearly everyone else was crazy. Anyways that show came to an end as all shows must, but this one had a twist. In the final episode Bob wakes up from a dream, the Newhart show and tells his wife, Suzanne Pleshette, who's in bed next to him, all about the dream where he was a New England innkeeper. It was flipping hysterical. In any case, I wouldn't mind waking up from a dream and find Suzanne Pleshette in bed with me.
