Several Bald Eagles been hanging around the yard for the past week. They hangout with the vultures. They all took to the wing a little while ago and a group of hawks made known their presence. Saw a bloated tick on a Northern Junco at the birdfeeder yesterday. hope it drops off at the feeder. Will look for it on the ground today

We let one of them out in the snow last year and she jumped through the snow like foxes in a nature documentary. The other one is more timid about the snow but loves water, she'll wade in it. She's also the clumsiest cat I've ever known. She's constantly falling off of things. The worst was when she fell from the second story onto a glass table. No damage to the cat or table, but it was terrifying to watch. Bill
