fran52 -> New patch (4/7/2016 7:18:13 AM)

Where is the new patch promised for the end of March?I'm not able to find the dedicated thread.

waltero -> RE: New patch (4/7/2016 8:22:51 AM)

Are we there yet!?

MikeGER -> RE: New patch (4/7/2016 11:07:02 AM)

When its ready, Peter please consider relasing it like the Zero day patch zip too, maybe in the members area, for those early birds who are not affraid of unzipping a file by hand

From my experience it can take up to two additional weeks from the developers upload to Matrix/Slitherine until they have a "production queue slot" free to build, test, and relase a full blown auto-installer file

Peter Fisla -> RE: New patch (4/7/2016 9:38:30 PM)

Just a quick update, all UPDATE1 testing will wrap up by the coming weekend then I will send the package to the publisher.

Franciscus -> RE: New patch (4/8/2016 3:36:03 PM)

Hi, Peter

I think someone previously gave this suggestion.

You may want to consider posting in the future a "public beta" patch before oficial release. When we were making patches for AJE games, we usually issued one or two public betas, it helped tremendously fine-tuning the official release

Cheers and thanks

I will keep this mind for the future, however some players have problem with downloading patches from the forum (were not happy about delivery method) as I found out about the Zero Day Patch feedback.

Peter Fisla -> RE: New patch (4/10/2016 11:25:27 PM)

I will have list of bug fixes and new features that's coming in UPDATE1 package for you tomorrow :)

pirey4 -> RE: New patch (4/11/2016 2:12:49 AM)

I would appreciate the ability to manually patch as well.

I often run the game on Playonmac when i'm using OS X on my Mac so that I don't have to reboot into Windows under bootcamp.

The Matrix Games updater doesn't seem to work when running it on Playonmac (or Crossover...I installed the demo version to see if it would work). I am able to manually patch the game in this envrionment with a zip file, however.

I'm not sure how the update process will work with Tigers on the Hunt but for all my games that I own through Matrix Games I always download the update myself from a game page. I will look into it...

UPDATE:

I just got confirmation from the publisher that the UPDATE1 will be available through manual download from the product page as well as through the update process within the application.

Peter Fisla -> RE: New patch (4/11/2016 1:25:42 PM)

Ok guys, here is the change log for the upcoming UPDATE1:

DoubleDeuce -> RE: New patch (4/11/2016 2:15:04 PM)

Excellent, reading through it now.

Lannes -> RE: New patch (4/11/2016 2:44:34 PM)

Great job Peter

Just read through the change log. Nice list.

And I'm particularly pleased to see that the manual has been updated to reflect the changes. Thanks for that!

Thanks
Rick

I will be sending the package to the publisher on Friday, April 15th.

lhmg -> RE: New patch (4/13/2016 9:14:27 PM)

Great news. Thanks for the update.

DoubleDeuce -> RE: New patch (4/17/2016 10:20:57 AM)

Really looking forward to some of those changes. Maybe we'll see some new nations or equipment in the near future. [;)]

GJK -> RE: New patch (4/18/2016 2:36:02 AM)

I'm confused about the item "Pinned units cannot rout in Rout Segment". Is this for non-broken but pinned leaders that are attempting to rout with a broken squad in their hex?

Paullus -> RE: New patch (4/18/2016 5:30:45 AM)

This is for all pinned units, leaders as squads/crews but especially if a pinned leader is stacked with a broken unit that wants to rout.

GJK -> RE: New patch (4/18/2016 11:14:41 PM)

Right, but you can't be both broken and pinned which is what it seemed like it was saying.

Paullus -> RE: New patch (4/19/2016 5:33:38 AM)

Yes you are correct

Any estimate on when we might see it on this end? Thanks, again, for your hard work!

Paullus -> RE: New patch (4/20/2016 6:08:04 PM)

Very soon. Matrixgames is working on the final pieces.

We're coming up on two weeks past the submission date and a week past the last update. Still no word from Matrix about this patch?

Gerry4321 -> RE: New patch (4/27/2016 11:47:14 PM)

Do you test a whole bunch of scenarios again or is it just sitting there in some queue?

Paullus -> RE: New patch (4/28/2016 5:43:05 AM)

We had a problem with the installer, solved yesterday.

Gents, i told ya! [;)]

(that's why i had respectfully asked for "just a zip" upfront from the developer itself (like Zero day patch = no installer also) for those who can sort a few files into the right directories by hand)

AlanBernardo -> RE: New patch (4/29/2016 3:45:00 PM)

I must say, it's pretty bad when a patch was expected in early April, submitted two weeks later, expected again a week later, and now at the end of April and still nothing.

I can wait and have waited, but this kind of thing I do not expect from Matrix Games.

Yes, I think it better to keep silent than make promises you can't keep.

Waited many years for a game like this, I can wait a bit longer...thanks for trying.
