AllenK -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (5/15/2016 9:57:51 PM)

Rolls of Axis 6 and Allies 10 result in no combat.

In the West Med, the Italian fighter initiates searching and both sides find each other (both rolled 3). Naval Air combat is chosen. Both ships are identical, so I pick CA Canberra for the first of 2A. CA Canberra survives some near misses. With the first A saved, I put the second A on the Australia as a save there would leave both ships on station. It gets aborted. Do the Allies wish to stay?

CW abort the sea area. Cruisers go to Gibraltar and the CP to Aden.

CP can't go to Aden due to FTC. Options are Gib, Cyprus, Malta, Bardia, Tobruk or UK ports but then needs to fight through the subs.

Orm -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (5/15/2016 10:12:45 PM)

Malta then.

Edit: It amazes me that convoy ships are included in the FTC rule. [:)]

warspite1 -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (5/15/2016 10:18:38 PM)

Okay gents, what is the plan for the rest of the impulse? Are the Axis looking to do this tonight or tomorrow?

AllenK -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (5/15/2016 10:22:58 PM)

A bit more tonight. Just doing the ground-strikes and I have instructions for rail moves, then that will be it until tomorrow as Mayhemizer will need to do his land moves.

AllenK -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (5/15/2016 10:26:51 PM)

Japanese artillery bombards Nationalist units in the mountains east of Sian. They shouldn't have bothered.

AllenK -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (5/15/2016 10:36:01 PM)

Germany rails MTN from Rouen and ARM from Paris to Krakow. GAR from Aachen to Denmark Frederikshavn.

Tokyo Mil rails to Gen Umezu.

Japan ends up not making any land moves. Italy adjusts positions of a couple of units on the French border.

Over to Mayhemizer for Germany's land moves.

Mayhemizer_slith -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (5/16/2016 8:40:51 PM)

Only one land combat. This must be assault, blitz would be automatic.

Warsaw falls, German army stays organized.

Germany rebases FTR and Stuka near disorganized CW MOT in France.

Von Leeb reorganizes MTN and ARM in Poland.

Back to Allies with new weather.

peskpesk -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (5/17/2016 2:43:54 PM)

The low US entry (not do many chits drawn) gives the Axis more options and limits Allies choices. Any comments? Any one seen the effects before? So early in the game with many possible hits missed. The US may enter very late.

Orm -> RE: 4 player E-mail: AAR (5/17/2016 7:09:43 PM)

No declarations of war.

Land: China
Combined: USSR, USA
Naval: CW, Free France

No Port Strikes. No naval air.

CW send a few convoy points to Cape St Vincent. Plenty of convoy escorts leave port. One transporter loaded with a motorized corps return to Plymouth, from the North Sea, escorted by one cruiser.

Home Fleet sail to Bay of Biscay where a carrier fleet from Gibraltar join up. A loaded transporter, escorted by two battleships, also sail to Bay of Biscay from Gibraltar.

Allies do not initiate any combat. Does Italy do so in the Bay of Biscay?

Well as I see it, the US can't make all normal choices if the time tables is going to hold for US entry.
Some of the below are needed to be skipped. Its for the Allies to figure out what to leave and for the Axis to try to take advantage of it.

China: US Entry options 1, 9, 17, and 24
Commonwealth and France: 4, 15, 16, 25, and 27
Atlantic convoys: 7, 11, 20, 29, 32, 38, 44, and 50
USSR: 19 and 30
Japan: 13, 23, 26, 31, 36, 40, 41, and 43
Americas: 33 and 48
Production: 22, 28, 34, and 46

The Italian submarines search for the Allied forces but are found by British carrier planes. (Axis roll 4 and Allies 1)

Which submarine will suffer the X result?
