Hi All,

This is Rhondalynn's daughter, Val. I finally got logged in. I just want to say thanks to all of you for your friendship with Rhondalynn, it meant a lot to her and she really missed logging in and chatting with you all when she started having trouble with the computers.

As you have seen, she passed on June 10th. I was with her and she went peacefully and quickly, much faster than any of us expected. I'm still struggling with it to tell you the truth, but I'm sure that she is flying free and moving on to her next adventure. She was cremated and her ashes were scattered at some of her favorite sites in the West and a special place in Indiana. My brothers and I appreciate the kind words left by some of you on her obituary page and donations - Thank You!

She did leave behind a considerable collection of games, including Avalon Hill, Strategy and Tactics Folio Games, GDW, and others. Unfortunately, none of us were bitten by the wargaming bug and I can't store them for long, so I'm planning to sell them. I'm still struggling to catalog and find places to sell. If any of you are interested or have advice, please email me at diverval@gmail.com. I'd love for them to go to friends rather than complete strangers.

-Val

She will be missed.

As for the games Ebay is the best bet.

If I was in the States I'd be interested but shipping costs make it prohibitive.

Some maybe quiet valuable so make sure you get the right price.

Another place to sell is BoardGameGeek.

Your mother spoke of you with great pride and love. She recounted how you helped her several times with her needs. Thank you for taking such good care of your mom. She meant much to us here.

Aww that is very sad, we will miss her. Infact I though this person was a guy at first.

She was funny and interesting character and we will miss her :(

For an internet forum where very few of the people have every met each other or ever will, she made an impression. she was well loved. Everyone enjoyed her posts.

Gilmer -> RE: Rhondalynn's Good News Cancer Thread (7/15/2016 1:25:05 AM)

Peace and love to Rhondalynn, and you Val and your family. I hope you are able to keep your memories but leave the pain behind.

Titanwarrior89 -> RE: Rhondalynn's Good News Cancer Thread (7/15/2016 2:10:32 AM)

You should also Post on the Boardgame Geek. It is for selling/buying war/board games and general game forums. It already has a system in place to help sell your games.

Orm -> RE: Rhondalynn's Good News Cancer Thread (9/27/2016 6:34:46 PM)

You are still missed Rhondalynn. And I still lack words to express my feelings.

I hope you rest in peace and that your spirit fly free across the West.

I was away from the forums for most of 2016 and just now saw this thread, some months after the news. Very sad news indeed. Rhonda-you will be missed.

Same here Chickenboy. I have this habit of indulging myself in some good old FPS like Fall Out, and can be gone for months from the Matrix forums. Always I come back after a while, because even Fall Out can become boring.
I must say I'm pretty stumped that two of my old forum buddies both have passed away. God bless them and boy I'm gonna miss them.

wodin -> RE: Rhondalynn's Good News Cancer Thread (5/7/2017 6:21:30 PM)

Hopefully you and Dave have had some wargames on the go:)

RIP Rhonda and Parusski (David)

Josh -> RE: Rhondalynn's Good News Cancer Thread (5/8/2017 8:08:35 AM)

Well they were both pretty active on the mainforum, and I loved Parusski's bantering with you and the other regulars. Besides his Avatar is/was legendary. And I really appreciated Rhonda's input, and her stories about the ranch and so on. She lived on this ranch with her horses and animals, and she was Always talking about how dry it was out there, whereas where I live, northern part of the Netherlands, it's Always wet and cold. We did exchange a few mails back in the day, and she had this very nice ... Indian territory site (?) with beautiful pics, unfortunately that site had suddenly disappeared one day. Poof gone. She was also pretty active and knowledgeable about WitE when it was still being developed.

I raised my whiskey to both of them last night. [:(]
