Actuallt the pre-war Axis naval staffs made all those BB build decisions and the war-time Axis seems, so far, to have only chosen to lay down one new CV in Japan.

2. On the axis side, Germany is sending 1 oil to Italy.

Well, I am able to work in a move or turn while I'm making dinner.

The RN in the West Med tries to initiate combat, however, it's the Italians that roll well. With blizzard in the Med, air is not able to fly.

How would you like to use your surprise points? My assumption is to avoid combat?

Question 2. East Med.

In the East Med it's the RN that surprise the Italians. The RN uses all their surprise points to reduce damage to "No effect". How do you wish to apply the axis results?

1 ITA CA damaged, the second aborted and the CP aborted. They will now flee the area through the Italian coast. The RN there will attempt to intercept.

By the way, the one damaged should abort to Tripoli and then on into the repair pool. Don't you like teleporting :-)

The Italian CP and heavy cruiser Bolzana successfully aborted to La Spezia through the Italian Coast.

The crippled (i.e., damage) heavy Italian cruiser Trento is not so lucky. The RN off the Italian Coast successfully intercept and sink the cruiser.

This action brings to an end the naval portion of my impulse.

By the way, I used the debug tool from MWiF 2.2.6 to disorganize RN sub unit 4731 in the West Med (box 1) and CVL Eagle (no planes, box 0) in the East med. It was these two units that initiated, or attempted to initiate, in those two sea areas, respectively.

I'm looking forward to this bug getting fix. Hopefully, in the near future. [;)]
