Hello A friend and I are still trying to get into a human vs human game via the PBEM workaround suggested in another thread. Here's what we are doing. ORIGINAL: wadortch Bill I am back. Still trying to make the PBEM workaround work. Thanks to you we now know where to find and save the hotseat move files. Trouble is now, we cannot open the emailed move files because the password (which we have shared with each other) does not work. That is, we type in the p/w where requested and nothing happens. Here's the drill we are on: Player 1 starts a hotseat game and does not end the turn. Player 1 sends the turn to Player 2 who ends the move and when prompted to select a p/w to open the next turn, enters a p/w. Player 2 then sends the move back to player one. Have any idea what we are doing wrong here? Someone else suggested that we don't use passwords but that does not work either. SO--if the person who posted the workaround is out there, it would be just awesome if he/she could provide a step by step description of how to make this approach work. Thought the PBEM feature would have been patched in by now, but since not, am still after getting part of the way towards human vs human play. Thanks for any tips on this from those who have made it work.
