How do I initiate sea combat? Nothing seems to work. Playing as Ariselle (a naval power) I have never had any combat at sea(despite having an admiral as a hero).

If it is a random event then I don't think it's working properly because, with the amount of traffic around the island (including rebels) then something should have occurred by now.

I'd suggest putting in an 'intercept' button where a naval force with an admiral would have better odds at initiating combat.

P.S. There's nothing in the manual about sea combat.

Like land armies the only way to play tactical battle in sea is have a commander with the navy... you need have a general in one of the ships to play tactical naval battles.

I remember have commander in one land unit, and have it in rear while ships fight... i dont remember if is possible have a general atached to a ship... i only play one time with a naval power and stoped after control all seas.

It wasn't so much tactical battles but any sea battles. It seems to be a waste of time buying ships because they never get used. I did have an admiral with my fleet but still nothing.

This needs fixing ASAP. Sea combat should work, and it should work without admirals.
