The view of the beach is spectacular and allows us to clearly appreciate the difficulties that the American soldiers had to overcome that day.

The German defenders had a lot of advantage thanks to the terrain.

You are really doing a lot of research it seems to me. Very nice.


The problem that I have to face when designing the scenarios of June 6, 1944 in Normandy is the immense amount of information that is available.

It is a problem because it is more difficult to adjust the scenario to what happened then since the exhaustive information requires to be as rigorous as possible.

Thanks for the remark KhanDam2.

The guideline that I am following is to omit the accents such as "è" or the hyphen "du-Pont" and other symbols used in languages other than English to avoid confusion with computers (that only think in English). It is nothing more than an arbitrary license that I have taken.

Of course, the correct names would be:

Sainte-Marie-du-Mont
Sainte-Mère-Église
Chef-du-Pont
Hamel-au-Prêtre
Vierville-sur-Mer
Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer ...

VIVE LA FRANCE!!!!!!!!
