Jumping in late, a friend of mine just told me about this Mod. I have the original game, but haven't played it that much. I've read through most of the posts in the threads, but have a few questions.

1. Is this multiplayer (HtH) or only vs AI?
2. I love the maps, but would greatly prefer counters. Is there an option to use counters instead without having to muck about in spreadsheets? The maps are stunning, but it's just too hard to see the units. Such stunning maps really deserve gorgeous counters to go with them [sm=innocent0009.gif]
3. Is the game play changed at all other than the new unit types?

Really amazing, great work. Red Barricades is by FAR my favorite ASL Module, having played through the full CG on VASL many times... Love it.

Welcome to Stalingrad ruins and the bloody Omaha beach, Soldier !!!

1) HvH
The original game has the "Multiplayer" option, so Heroes and Leaders mod can also play HvH via Internet, although I have never tried it.

2) use counters
Thank you very much for your kind words about the Boards. If you prefer to play with the classic "cardboard counters" format, ther'es a friend in this Forum who has transformed the counters in "silhouette" format to counters in classic format. 3) game play changed
The game is not affected by the use of the new counters, either in "silhouette" format or in "classic cardboard counters" format, although Heroes and Leaders mod does change the game's characteristics, such as the terrain, the units properties, as well as the scenarios balance.

4) Red Barricades
I'm also an enthusiast of the famous Avalon Hil historical module although I have probably not played it as many times as you.

I hope you enjoy this version of the famous battle in Stalingrad.

Thanks so much for the mod and your assistance.

So I downloaded everything, got it up and running, looks amazing! A few issues that perhaps you've seen before that maybe you can assist with...…

1. What is the recommended screen resolution? The game itself looks great with the mods, but the intro placards are messed up a bit so I can't read them. (it's like only 1/4 of it is showing).

2. Disregard this one, I figured it out. A grayed out button I wasn't pushing.
