Up North the Soviets take Arshaan with ease. Some troops will remain to mop up and hold the base, beginning to build some forts. I'll not pursue the units that were booted out unless they're in the way somehow or sit aggressively next to the base.
Heiho is bombed again. All other air units stand down.
In the CBI areas Wenchow and Lashio were both attacked as well. they both held again! [&o]
Wenchow still looks strong, with the IJA taking 150 infantry squads destroyed or disabled to only 39 for the Chinese. They get a leader (+) which may be due to the best Chinese generals I could find going into the 3rd War Area and 25th Group Army there.
At Lashio the IJA only gets a 1:3!! They had 111 infantry squads destroyed or disabled. Also with a leader (+). The Burma Corps making a difference I guess. Another 1/3 Corps is marching from China, just having been bought out, and will join this group to add another 150AV in about 2-3 turns. After that I'll be air transporting a few other small Chinese units in, plus hopefully some more engineers. I'd like to keep this base now. [:)]
